The apartment is located in the same building (next door) to Oslo's newest and most upmarket (and of course the most expensive) boutique & art hotel, THE THIEF. However, at my place you will have more space, a full ultra-modern kitchen, a lovely balcony overlooking the canal and Oslo, access to the sunny roof terrace, two mountain bikes in the basement bicycle-room, free wireless high speed internet, and a MUCH bigger refrigerator if you what to chill that white wine..:-) And yeah, it's under 1/3 of the price of a standard room at THE THIEF.

Tjuvholmen, meaning 'thief's island', is the ultimate trendy and exclusive new area in Oslo, with pulsating city space, alleys, walking bridges over the canals, and with extensive seafront promenades. Meters away from the apartment you will find several of Oslo's best restaurants, bars, cafes, cinemas and of course, Oslo's best shopping. Public transport is close by, either you prefer bus, tram or the small ferries. 150 meters away, you will find the world famous Astrup Fearnley Museeum of Modern Art, AFMoMA.
The apartment it self is new and exclusive, with a lovely balcony hanging directly over the canal, six stories down. Everything is of high standard, from the Italian tiles in the bathroom to the walnut floor in the rest of the apartment. There is a wonderful Jensen King size bed (180 cm) in the bedroom.
I am also placing two mountain bikes in the basement bicycle room, free for you to use. Take the bikes along the bicycle path to fantastic Bygdoy, to see the old Polar ships of the Norwegian explorers, or the magnificent Viking ships at the Viking Museum. Or, even better, have a picnic by the sea! I will tell you were to go...:-)
Can't say enough about our stay in Oslo. The apartment is close to the center of the city and to all the necessary amenities. Public transport is a two minute walk away and there are many good restaurants in the immediate area. Would love to stay there again if we return to Oslo.

Wonderful way to see Oslo
This well appointed, beautiful apartment was in the absolutely best location for a taste of Oslo. The apartment was quiet, spotless and very comfortable.
Nils, the owner was extremely helpful and everything from pre-arrival communication to arrival went smoothly.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just like home!
We immediately felt at home upon entering the apartment. Although very compact, it had everything g we needed and was set up very nicely. Everything was thought out for what anyone would need and we could not fault the apartment. The location was perfect and we felt very comfortable in the neighborhood!

Amazing Place to Stay
We loved the apartment. It was in a lovely area at the end of Aker Brygge with great restaurants and shops. It was a safe, quiet location so close to everything. The apartment was comfortable and had absolutely everything you would need for a wonderful stay. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the great design to maximize the space. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. Our check in and out was great and communication with the owner was very efficient. We really enjoyed our time in Oslo. Thanks you so much.

Great Location cation. Ideal for couple taking a short break in Oslo
This apartment is located in a great area of Oslo.The waterfront is very popular with many restaurants nearby and it is a short walk to the light rail.
The owner was very helpful and the apartment had all that we needed for including washing and cooking facilities.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Cosy apartment in popular location
Booking and check-in went smoothly, although the greeter did rush through the instructions a bit too quickly. I learned this when I couldn't figure out how to open the outside entrance the first time. The apartment is very attractively furnished. It is quite small, but only the bedroom feels cramped. It was not a problem. The neighborhood is totally modern and filled with restaurants, shops and attractions. This was a fun place to stay.

A PERFECT ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT IN THE CENTRE OF OSLO
My wife & I recently stayed in the centre of Oslo in a one-bedroom apartment. The location was perfect for everything, transport, seaside, metro, trains, shops, restaurants, and the start and finish of the Oslo marathon which we both ran ! The apartment was exceptionally well maintained, the instructions and directions were very easily facilitated by the landlord, and there were more than sufficient instructions on how everything operated and suggestions on what to see and do in Oslo. We had a great time, and it was so nice to return to a well maintained apartment. Thoroughly recommended. We would love to return sometime, and we will love to stay in the apartment again. Thanks to the landlord and his assistant Jean who had arranged to meet us on arrival in the apartment.

Modern appartment in a tranquil central location
We really enjoyed staying here. The appartment is small, bright and well equiped. Ideal for a couple wanting to visit the city. A view out over waterways as well as other appartment blocks. Excellent location in a new dockside development where everything is to hand. One can take a bus, tram or ferry within 10 minutes walk. There is a big supermarket within 5 minutes walk or a small minimarket around the corner. For those of us with deep pockets there is no shortage of restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

Easy to reach from Gardermoen Airport. Take the FLYTOGET (Airport train) to Oslo Sentralstasjon (Oslo Central Station), and walk for 10-15 minutes, or take a taxi to THE THIEF HOTEL, TJUVHOLMEN. My entrance is 20 meters next door to THE THIEF. Easy!
