Located in an early 18th century building on the Schultergasse/Jordangasse, a picturesque street a few steps from Judenplatz, in the nicest area of the historic centre, a UNESCO world heritage landmark. The whole area is pedestrian, including the Jordangasse and Schultergasse, with the nicest cafés and restaurants in Vienna.

The famous baroque architect Fischer von Erlach (Schönbrunn, Karlskirche, National library etc) used to live in this building until he passed in 1723!!
The flat, on the third floor (fourth American) with elevator, is very spacious, 120m² (1,300 sq.f.), and has 2 dedicated bedrooms, a living room/dining room (with 2 extra beds), as well as a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom (with bathtub) and a separate toilet.

Fijnste plek in Wenen binnenstad
Wij hebben met ons gezin ( 3 pubers) weer overheerlijke dagen in Wenen gehad. De locatie van het appartement is geweldig. Je loopt zo naar de bakker! Midden in de binnenstad met de leukste restaurantjes en cafés en de mooiste winkels. Het appartement is heel schoon. De bedden liggen goed/ lekker. In de keuken kan je makkelijk zelf koken. En eten in de aparte eetkamer/ hal. Alleen het aantal handdoeken is wat weinig. Je kan ze wel zelf wassen. Wasmachine aanwezig. Net als vaatwasser en goede muziek installatie. Als wij in Wenen zijn verblijven wij het liefst in dit appartement.

Spacious apartment in perfect location
Although advertised as three bedrooms the apartment has two separate bedrooms with sleeping accommodation in the living area. Some of the beds are really only suitable for children. We were there for a week but only one set of towels was provided and a cost levied for extra towels. The kitchen facilities and equipment were excellent as was the location in a quiet pedestrian area. The Graben and main shopping streets are an easy walk. Check in was easy with a person to meet us and show us around. Unfortunately we could not leave baggage on our last day without incurring an extra charge.

Spacious and convienent
Really convenient location within a few minutes walk of the central area. It was a relief to have such a spacious apartment for a family of four after weeks of tiny rooms. The coffee machine and washing machine were welcome additions.

Beautiful apartment in the ideal location for visiting Vienna
This apartment is located within a 10 minute walk from Stephenplatz and the Hofburg and many of the cities main attractions. At Stephenplatz you have the underground which connects you with the Prater, Shonbrunn Palace etc. Locally the apartment back on to Judenplatz and Am Hof a quieter pedestrianised area with cafes and bars to relax in. We stayed at apartment 10 'Adagio' consisting of a large living room and master bedroom, large- more like palatial, this building obviously had some well heeled owners back in the day and retains much of its period grandeur today (It is an old building so floors will creak, doors will squeak and is a bit tired in places but that is its beauty and if you want somewhere modern and soulless then look somewhere else) . There is a second reasonable sized bedroom and an well equipped kitchen but the view from the front windows overlooking baroque courtrooms and Judenplatz is special. We found the staff very helpful and accommodating especially letting us check in at 2pm and letting us leave our bags for an hour or so between checking out and our airport transfer. If you want an ideal location and the full Vienna experience then this is the place to stop.

A true Viennese experience
We stayed an extended weekend in the center of Vienna and truly enjoyed our experience. Everything is in walking distance including the purchase of groceries. I can confirm the previous reviews. Getting on touch with the owner was efficient and reliable.?

Best place to stay!
We stayed in Adagio for two lovely weeks. The apartment is so tastfully decorated with everything you need. The apartment is wonderfully situated within walking from everything you want to see and do. Christian and Florian were so friendly and communication was suoer fast and efficiant. Christian assisted me with visa letters and everything....what a host!! Florian received us and made us feel very welcome and explained even the metro and where to shop.
I would return to this appartment everytime!! A wonderful find. Very safe and comfortable. Thank you for a unforgetable stay.

Beautiful apartment in a central location
This is a beautiful apartment, with two large rooms, a small third bedroom, and a small kitchen. It's very well-presented, with a comprehensive set of kitchen utensils and other conveniences such as a TV, DVD player, washing machine, and dish washer. The location is ideal too: very central but off a quiet street. A perfect base for exploring Vienna.

Centrally located
The apartment was very comfortable and centrally located to the central Vienna district.
The apartment was advertised as having three bedrooms but it has only two with a lounge area which could be used as a third bedroom.

Concerning the bedrooms, Tripadvisor counts as a bedroom every room where there is a bed, however in our detailed description we make it clear that there are 2 bedrooms + sleeping opportunities in the living room.

Lovely apartment in very central superb location
Apartment has everything you need for a break in the centre of Vienna. Lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen. Very clean and well presented.

About the neighborhood
Location, location, location. The feeling of living in this part of town, one of the oldest of Vienna (end of 18th century), with all the charming labyrinthine streets filled with traditional shops, restaurants and cafes, is really unique. No cars. St-Stephens cathedral is 200m away from the flat (about 3 minutes by foot) as is the underground station for the rare times you'll actually have to take transportation (for instance the day you go to the Schönbrunn palace which is out of town). In 5 minutes or less by foot, you can reach the Hofburg, the Spanish riding school, the Graben, Kärntnerstrasse, the Cafe Central and dozens of other sites.
