The Yurt has its own private deck with its own hammock and we provide portable Bluetooth rechargeable speakers within each Yurt so you can add your own music over the background of nature's elements. We offer tea and coffee making facilities within your Yurt as well as complimentary water refillable bottles for you (Please don't bring your plastic to us!) Every Yurt has its own wood burner and ample wood is stocked for your visit so you can rest assured you'll be warm enough and during the summer months, the "natural" air conditioning will keep you cool (some of our guests asked for winter duvets in August!). There are a further 2 more Yurts as well as a Wooden Cabin on site but the attractive spacing between each allows for maximum privacy for our guests to unwind, relax and connect with themselves whilst breathing in the breath-taking views across the valley.

Spiritual Yurt
I had a unique experience staying in Engke Yurt with my 10-year-old daughter for 2 nights. I was impressed by the structure, eco-friendliness and emotional impact of staying in a yurt. The nearby creek was a wonderful company with birds and grouses walking around. At some point, a fox walked down a small cataract probably in search of water! The hosts, Pawel and Justina, are very hard working and helpful , with a genuine environmental awareness of their property and the nearby ecology.Justina's pottery is very elegant ! was intrigued by the symbolic structure of the yurt ,depicting a microcosm and started searching the Mongolian culture which is of unique beauty including a shamanic tradition and traditional medicine. The top crown of the Yurt is used for watching the night sky and also as a solar clock!!! It would be nice if these small enterprises were also funded by state so as to help the owners develop a cultural centre there!!!

Don't miss Yurts in Cyprus if you go to that island
We stayed at the Yurts on our road trip of Cyprus for 2 nights and we were charmed very much by the luxurious accommodation with still a sense of adventure, the stunning environment, the wonderful sunsets, the moon and the stars at night, which we could admire with a glass of wine on our personal balcony, and actually also the very hospitable, interesting couple Pawel and Justina who took their time to talk with us over a great breakfast. In the neighborhood, we visited the Akramas National Park, the Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery, the Kannaviou Dam, the Evretou Lake, and very close, a beautiful Venetian bridge. It was ons of the highlights of our trip. If we ever come back to Cyprus, the Yurts will be the first stop we will put on our list of destinations.

Exceeded all our expectiations
We arrived and we were instantly awestruck by the view (early Spring, everything green). We got greeted by Pawel and then we were left with our mouths open for the next 2 days trying to absorb how divine the time we were spending there was. All I can say is that we usually leave Cyprus and travel abroad for these kind of experiences. We will definitely be back with our kids, dog and friends. Highly recommended!

Excellent!!!
What can I say except FABULOUS. Made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Spotlessly clean Yurt with all we needed. Delicious vegetarian meals, stunning scenery and although it was just 2 nights we totally relaxed. Thanks to Pawel and family, nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back soon 😊

Incredible experience
A different and incredible experience. We lived in Koliba which is located at the highest point. A million stars accommodation. Owners were very friendly and polite. A perfect place if you want something different from normal holidays into the nature. Highly recommended.

A masterpiece that has to be experienced
We live in Cyprus and have stayed at this property at least five times over the past six years, but always in the yurts. This time we booked the Kaliba, which is a wooden cabin that sits on the highest point of the hill. Once again, the experience exceeded our expectations. I only have the highest recommendation for anyone who wants to get away from it all and experience nature at its most pristine. One of the things I've noticed before, which was even more pronounced during this visit, is the incredible attention to detail. Everything on the site is built and furnished with a delicate balance of functionality, sustainability, and artistic expression. It all has a rustic feel, yet there is nothing plain about the buildings or furnishings. Every item from the table lamps to the beautifully constructed wooden decks is unique, yet it all fits together in a cohesive style that I would call New Age Rustic. All this is the vision of a single human being—the owner, Pawel. He is truly a phenomenon. He constructed the entire complex with his own hands, the way an oil painter creates a masterpiece. When you're sitting there in the comfort of the main house, enjoying the delicious and healthy breakfast you’re served, flanked by a cozy living room with all the modern conveniences (Wifi, laptop computers, etc.) it's rather mind-blowing to realize that the entire property is completely off the grid and generates all its own electricity. My words don’t even come close to describing its uniqueness—it’s the kind of thing that has to be experienced. If you’re having any doubts, go ahead and take the risk.

Weekend away
We've just come back from a weekend away staying at the yurts, I could honestly stay there forever. It's the most beautiful place, quiet and seculded and on a clear night the night sky is something else. The yurt was spotless and Pawel was so welcoming, accommodating and he was great with our two year old, there wasn't anything he couldn't do for us. Each morning he welcomed us into his home for breakfast and the second evening he welcomed us for an amazing home cooked dinner. We were the only ones there this weekend and our two well behaved collies were allowed off the lead to wander round close to us and to sit outside with pawels two dogs while we had breakfast. There is lots of walks round the area and places to see close by, Pawel has an excellent knowledge of it all and is happy to give you recommendations on where to go and what to see. Will definitely be staying there again.

Peaceful Retreat
Just spent a fantastic weekend at the wonderful Yurts in Cyprus Everything from the booking process through to the driving directions and helpful pre arrival information was absolutely spot on. The setting is so beautiful, with stunning panoramic views and the night sky is something else entirely. Pawel and Justyna are fantastic hosts, and provided a delicious breakfast and amazing dinner, the honesty bar is well stocked too. Consisting of 3 Yurts and a wooden cabin there is plenty of space to relax, and plenty of things to do locally. The bonus for us was being able to bring our 2 dogs, they had a great time and enjoyed the company of the resident dog Shukra who was a real cute boy. We stayed in ‘Engke’ yurt which was beautiful and was set at the far end of the plot. Thanks for such an amazing experience, we will be back 😊

Tranquility at it's finest
My wifed booked us in for 2 nights for my birthday with our 2 children, no tv or ipads just the wilderness... made out for some quality family time with some hikes to abandoned villages, lakes and a look round the local area. The owners were very friendly and we had a cooked meal and breakfast both days we were there. If you want to get away from it all this is the perfect place!

Silence is golden - Beautiful valley & views.
WOW awesome- what can I say we absolutely loved our 4 night stay in our Eco Yurt ‘Qadan’ in this beautiful valley it’s so silent and calm with the most amazing views over the valley the photos do not do it justice. We have traveled the world & this is one of our favourite locations so far we have ever stayed at. You have your own personal decking veranda in front of your yurt with table & chairs & hammock, the views are so interesting you could never get bored of them. We had the home cooked evening meal twice during our stay & it was beautiful so much homemade food we could not eat it all all served on our decking it was just perfect highly recommended having dinner here for only €15 pp great value. Pawel also has a fully stocked fridge & honestly bar. You have your own outside toilet & your own shower both are just great. Breakfast is included each morning & is salad cheese hard boiled eggs olives humus toast haloumi preserves fruit tea coffee etc there is free cold drinking water or hot water for tea and coffee always available to take to your yurt. But this experience is all about the stunning views over the valley & this remote location & the silence & being part of nature again it’s truly magical it really is. Pawel has created & built a idillic venue for us lucky visitors to experience & enjoy. The world needs more people with his hard working attitude & environmental vision - well done Pawel we thank you.

About the neighborhood
The Yurts are set in the Cyprus country side. The nearest villages are Simou and Filousa, both 3 km away. There are spectacular views from the Yurts and the area is very quiet and peaceful. The place is ideal for nature lovers, walking, cycling, birdwatching, horse riding. We are walking distance from the end of the Evretou Reservoir and some fascinating abandoned Turkish villages. The beautiful volcanic forested mountains are also close by. We are virtually on the join between the Eurasian and the North African Tectonic plate, where the Troodos erupted onto the seabed millions of years ago, spoiling us with the most amazing variety of landscapes in a very small area. With the buzzard soaring overhead, this place is peace paradise! Acti
Getting around
Car hire is advisable, but not necessary for shorter breaks if the guests are focused on exploring the country side. There are buses leaving from the local bus stop nearly hourly in both the direction of the seaside town of Polis and to Paphos . However, it will be advantageous to hire a small 4x4 to make the most out of your holiday. All seasons have their own beauty and the Yurts is a perfect setting for you to experience this but we especially enjoy the periods outside the hot summer sun when you can explore the area and its many abandoned villages on foot or bicycle.
