Tilmun Farmhouse is an authentic farmhouse which has been renovated up to full modern standards retaining many of its original characteristics.
The plan consists of an arched main entrance leading into the living area. From here the kitchen and a bedroom can be accessed. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. From the living room the large glass aperture leads into the BBQ and pool areas. The pool has an integrated sit in Jacuzzi.
A stairway leads up to the first floor landing which overlooks the ground floor living area from which 3 bedrooms can be accessed. Another stairway leads up to the fourth bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have terraces which overlook the pool.
The farmhouse is equipped with Airconditioning units (pay by consumption).

We were a party of 10 adults staying on Gozo for New year. The farmhouse had so much space and the bedrooms and furnishings were all of a high standard. Well equipped kitchen and lovely pool area. Even though it was winter, it was often warm enough to sit outside for breakfast and lunch.
Great location from which to walk or explore and a short bus ride to Victoria. We had the loveliest of holidays and would highly recommend Tilmin farmhouse and its location. E

absoluter Traumurlaub !!!
Wir haben als Wandergruppe einen absoluten Traumurlaub im Tilmun Farmhouse verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Erholung abseits der Massen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein altes traditionelles Bauernhaus mit eigenem Swimmingpool und einem weitläufigen Wohnzimmer in geschmackvollem mediterranem Dekor, das uns oft zu vielen gemeinsamen abendlichen Stunden auf die Terrasse eingeladen hatte. Der Empfang von Aaron war absolut herzlich und wann immer wir eine Frage hatten, stand uns Aaron mit Rat und Tat zu Seite. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und können einen Aufenthalt nur rundum empfehlen.

Wanted for nothing!
Our friends booked this farmhouse and invited us to join them since it has 5 bedrooms. We had an amazing stay, the villa offered every thing we needed and more. Loads of space, fully fitted out kitchen, washing machine, great pool area and outdoor dining table. If we had to suggest any improvement it would be that 4 out of the 6 sun beds are looking a bit tired and only 2 have cushion covers, so first one up gets the best ones. Also the ensuite bathrooms are only separated from the bed rooms via a curtain, so if the villa is full to capacity that may be an issue for some. Since there were only 4 of us this did not represent a problem at all.
The village of G'arb is lovely, very quiet but this added to the charm. We tried 3 of the local restaurants which were all lovely, the best being at the Rangers Bar, which is hosted by a lovely family who really looked after us, plus the terrace restaurant on the roof has amazing views. Victoria is not far away at all if you need something a bit more lively.

Just perfect. ....
Just perfect. We stayed here with friends and the space was ideal for the four of us, the garden pool area is small so a large party of people may struggle?
Aaron made our trip easy and he is a great guy even smiling whilst showing us around when arriving at midnight!
Highly recommend this farmhouse or check out Aaron's other rentals.

Excellent property in an excellent location
We were met by Aaron and guided to the farmhouse, given a tour of the property and also provided with a welcome pack which was very handy. Over the 2 week stay Aaron called and sent texts to make sure we were OK and to let us know about some upcoming events.
The property was immaculate,(pictures do not do it justice). the beds were comfy and the pool was excellent. Its located in a quite village but has an excellent restaurant just around the corner and three others within a 5 minute drive.
We had a lovely time here as it is perfectly situated for exploring Gozo which is a beautiful island, so much history and dramatic coastline. I'm sure we will be returning next time we need to kick back and relax.
Aaron was helpful from the time of booking right up to the end and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tilmun

Girly holiday heaven!
Fabulous property, spacious, exceptionally clean, stunning authentic farmhouse convertion. Based in the sleepy village of Gharb. Walking distance to some of the islands main attractions and eating places, and a bus stop just a few minutes further to take you anywhere on the island. Lovely greeting by the owner and a welcome pack to keep us going. Spent an idyllic girly holiday there but well suited for groups & families. Transfers to and from the airport/ferry organised for us by the owner, and as we were there for 11 days it was nice to have a 'midweek' clean. Can't fault the place, perfect! Definitely recommend

A Fantastic Farmhouse in Gharb
We have just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Tilman farmhouse. The house is very well equipped and has a very spacious feel. All the bedrooms are good size with lovely ensuit bathrooms. Aaron was very helpful and provided a cot and highchair for our 1 year old. The outside area is small but the is pool is fantastic and makes up for it. There is a good shallow end (ideal for children) and enough space to have a good swim and BBQ. There is an outdoor loo and shower and swimming towels are provided. The house is well located and is in easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops. We stayed with friends and our young children, and the house was very suitable for our needs. Aaron was very helpful and came to check that we were happy with everything. If I was being ultra picky the only downside was that there was no hair dryer (that we could find) and no dishwasher - apparently this is common is Gozo. We would highly recommend this house.

Beautiful, spacious farmhouse in great location
We had a fantastic 2 week vacation at Tilmun Farmhouse. The farmhouse was incredibly spacious and very clean. Best parts were:
1) the pool (good size and very clean) and outside seating area with BBQ was fab,
2) Kitchen had everything you could need on holiday and everything worked!
3) bedrooms were spacious and the two overlooking the pool were lovely, ensuites' fittings were very modern,
4) location was great, near to our favourite restaurant Jeffery's in Gharb and close to local attractions such as the blue hole and azure window. 5min into Victoria by car and a 5min walk to nearest grocery store.
5) bonus was the roof terrace which had lines for drying clothes, but was also a great viewing point for local fireworks!
Aaron, the farmhouse manager, was very attentive and provided us with basic food supplies on the first day. Although he said we could contact him at anytime if we needed to, we never did as we had no problems whatsoever. We did have the odd dying or dead cockroach but this is a hot country and we were in a semi rural location next to another restaurant (Salvinas) so not unexpected, and at least they were dying/dead (farmhouse is treated annually). And although the farmhouse does not have air conditioning we did not feel we needed it as the floor/ceiling fans were adequate - being a traditional farmhouse it was made of thick stone walls so was cool downstairs.
Overall, a fantastic villa/farmhouse in a great location. A big thank you to Aaron!

About the neighborhood
L-Gharb is a traditional village. Its character is distinctly rural.
The people of l-Gharb are also renowned craftsmen mostly famous for the manufacture of the unique 'l-Gharb blade', a traditonal sharp knife popularly known as the 'Sikkina ta' l-Gharb'. Even today, L-Gharb is home to blacksmiths, locksmiths, cotton weavers and lace makers, carpenters and masters in cane-work. Gharb shepherds produce the best Gozo Cheese on the Island.
The farmhouse is situated in the heart of the village of Gharb. A small, quiet village Gharb has a few sites which can be reached easily from the farmhouse such as the Azure Window in Dwejra, the Gharb Folklore Museum, Ta' Pinu Shrine, San Dimitri Chapel and the Jordan Lighthouse.

You can get around the island easily via the public transport however a car would give you freedom and convenience to get around better.
