Sleeping eight, the lodge includes four tasteful bedrooms including a fabulous master suite with its own shower room. A contemporary living / dining area functions perfectly as the social hub of the home which together with the kitchen, flows through French doors out to the private wrap-around patio. Furnished with an outdoor table and chairs, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed alfresco while a private hot tub tempts long, indulgent soaks throughout the day and well into the evening.
Iris Lodge is pet-friendly so your four-legged family members are welcomed, and a host of fantastic walking routes in the area means you'll be able to enjoy fresh air adventure...

Pets: 2 Pets allowed. Please advise the Luxury Coastal team directly if you would like us to host your pet after completing your booking. A charge of £25 per pet per stay/week will be applicable and required before your stay. We will arrange and invoice with you directly upon booking confirmation.
Roadford Lake Lodges is not suitable for party groups. If your booking falls outside either of these groups, please get in touch before making your booking to discuss your requirements.

Unhappy and frustrated
Booked this as a birthday treat wanting luxury holiday with hot tub, the hot tub was broken. We had 2 young children so cooking meals was essential, the oven door was broken only discovering this once all food was bought for the week and tried using it. No resolution to the problems for the whole week and minimal compensation

We are sorry to hear how disappointed you were with your stay in Iris Lodge. Our team are passionate about their customer service so please rest assured that that your feedback has been important to us.
At the time, we worked hard with both the owner and property manager to find a resolution that was fair and hoped that this would help you to enjoy a lovely break in Devon.
Prior to your arrival we were informed that the hot tub at the lodge was out of order – something that was hugely disappointing, but which had unfortunately occurred right before your stay. With no time to fix it we felt it was crucial to let you know beforehand, and we were pleased to have been able to offer you an reimbursement amount that you felt was acceptable.
As discussed previously, we were let down on several occasions by the company that was scheduled to fix the oven door, and while the gas hob and microwave within the property would still have afforded the opportunity to cook - we understood that this wouldn’t completely negate the need for an oven. We were therefore happy to offer a gesture of goodwill that would allow you and your family to enjoy a meal out, and the owner wanted to include a free of charge two-night stay at the lodge for some time in the future which we were delighted to pass on to you.
We’re sorry that the outcome left you feeling frustrated but hope that you enjoyed your time in beautiful Devon.
