Enjoy spectacular nature from the comfort of a cozy 25 m2 Dome with a soft king size bed covered in sheepskins, a burning fireplace. Marvel at the dancing northern lights and starry skies through the large windows, with Mt. Esja, the queen of Reykjavík’s mountain range, providing a stunning and often snowcapped backdrop to the north.
Reykjavik Domes is part of Camper Resort, which is a place that people can park their camper vans and motor homes. Reykjavik domes is located inside an activity park were people are having fun with all kind of activities. Some days there are a quite a lot of people and fun things happening, but some days the park is quite relaxed.

Magical, Cozy Stay in Iceland
My husband and I had the most amazing night stay in one of the Reykjavík domes - it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The dome was incredibly cozy, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and lovely fireplace. We enjoyed the hot tub and free champagne under the stars. Nothing like watching the cold, winter Iceland winds in a dome with a cozy roaring fire. Yes it is a bit different than a hotel - there’s self check in, etc. but if you follow the directions we found it quite clear.

Absolutely loved it!
Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Deluxe dome for one night in May 2020.
We were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and comfortable everything was. The dome had a fireplace, a minibar where a small bottle of wine was waiting for us and a very comfortable bed. The owners really seem to have an eye for comfort and details; a small tablet to watch Netflix, the radio was on when we arrived and we could connect our phones to the speaker if we wanted to listen to our own music. The dome had a private hot tub and we loved to sit in it and watch the sunset. It felt like a trip to the country side, even though we were only 5 minutes from home. We highly recommend a stay in the deluxe dome.

Bad experience
Stayed here 08/01/2021 in the Deluxe Dome. Really cold, couldn’t change the temperature in the heaters or jacuzzi. Tried everything to light the fireplace and nothing work. Lots of dust in the lamps. Really bad experience, should have waisted my money in other place. Worst birthday night ever.

They take your money. Beware.
Booked an entire wedding in Iceland a month before covid/boarders closing. First of all, the customer service here could not be worse. Response times, morals, general common sense stuff this business just lacks. Secondly, after reaching out several times over the span of several months we were told there is no refund, no vouchers for sister companies that Americans can visit. Only that if we can’t come, we lose our money. With boarders closed for so long, it just isn’t possible now. And still if we come, my wife would have to quarantine for 2 weeks up return (medical field). Coming to Iceland isn’t feasible for us. This company offers zero compassion when it comes to your hard earned money once it’s in their bank account. Weather they render services or not.
I would consider peeling my fingernails off and bathing in rubbing alcohol before I booked this company again.

Toilet was blocked, no one called you back
The room was cold even though the fireplace went on all night. The toilet was blocked and we tried to call 3 numbers in the book but no one called us back.
As it's flushed, the waste came out from the shower so we couldn't use the bathroom at all.
Do NOT recommend this place.
