Would you like to spend summer on a peaceful lake, in the pristine wilderness of Finland? On a Houseboat you can easily get to great fishing spots, beaches or discover different Finnish villages and towns . You can sunbath on the roof, make food in the kitchen and take a rest in two bedrooms. A summer day is great for a little a Kayak excursion on the lake, mountain-biking along shoreline trails, or inflating an air-slide for the children on a sandy beach.

Great experience in Finland
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights on our houseboat. Krista was very good with communications prior to our arrival and very relaxed and helpful in getting us set up for our trip and suggesting possible places to visit. It was late in the season and thus quite cold at night so we should have been better prepared with other options for keeping warm at night e.g. wheat bag or hot water bottle etc. There was a gas heater but didn't like to keep this running overnight. However, in other aspects, the houseboat was well set up - especially appreciated the wifi and onboard sauna which we made use of - although only one of us did the dip in the lake afterwards. There were many pretty spots to anchor up and arms of the lake to investigate. Having the ability to hire bikes to take on board was also great so that we could go exploring islands. We also took the hire SUP but unfortunately it was too windy to use it. All in all a very memorable. Krista was also very helpful with the end of trip activities, enabling us to get off to catch our train.

Great houseboot holiday on the lakes in finnland
A luxury houseboat with all you want made a great family holiday. We enjoyed the changing sceenery in front of the large living room, the sauna on the boat and the great roof with the grill to relax afterwards. Dishwasher, Coffeemachine, TV and Wi-Fi, a huge shower, just everything you need was on board. We travelled with our three small children and mostly spent the nights at anchor in secluded coves. A really great experience. Completely different from our houseboat experiences in France or Germany.
