Villa
Situated near the village of Paderne, this delightful and well equipped villa offers the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside whilst just 20 minutes drive to the sea.
On entering the villa there is a lobby leading to the spacious open plan living/ dining area. This has patio doors leading out to the partially covered terrace and pool area.
From the lobby to the left are the downstairs bedrooms which consist of 3 twin bedrooms one which has an en suite bathroom. There is also a separate bathroom amnd shower room on this level.
Upstairs is the master double bedroom with en suite bathroom, air conditioning/ heating, dressing area and private terrace with steps leading down to the pool area.

Très bonne surprise
La location a tenu toutes ses promesses, la piscine, l'air conditionné, l'espace, les chambres etc
Nous sommes restés 15j et prêts à y revenir.
Agence de location accessible et réactive si besoin.

Perfect, whether you're staying put or exploring from it.
We had some rather unexpected 'iffy' weather, but the villa proved to be as easy to stay inside of as outside. It's not a new build, and has a feeling as if it had been there forever. It's got good facilities for young and old, good pool and outdoor dining; but it's also a really great place to use as a base to explore the Algarve, with excellent restaurants, markets, as much history and culture as you feel like, all within easy reach. Would love to go back in spring for the almond blossom.

Tranquil rural bliss near the coast
This is now the fourth time we have been to Quinta da Promessa as a family.
The villa is secluded amongst orange, lemon and olive groves away from the hustle and bustle near the beautiful village of Alt that overlooks the Algarve coast. Albufeira and a range of spectacular beaches are only 20 minutes away., so we can swim at the pool some days and pop down to the beach in the morning or afternoon..or nip up to Alt for a game of tennis..
The children adored Waterworld and there are some very good value restaurants nearby ..
If you enjoy walking mountain biking or horse riding, that is also nearby ..no busy roads, attractive varied countryside and terrain.
We would not go anywhere..

Great family villa in beautiful peaceful Algarve countryside
We spent a perfect family holiday in this comfortable well equipped villa with pool within its extensive grounds and great views. Lovely to eat all meals outside at large table. We enjoyed exploring nearby villages such as Alte and Paderne and shoppping locally at the markets as well as visiting Silves and Monchique. Albufeira and the coast with its beautiful secluded beaches were easily accessible at only approximately 20 mins drive away.
A car is essential - a perfect place if you want to et away from the crowds.

About the neighborhood
Albufeira was a busy fishing town and now is the liveliest resort along the coast. Excellent shops and a superb selection of bars and restaurants, serving dishes from all over the world. On the East side of Town, the night life is second to none. However, on the West side, Albufeira still retains its old-world charm with narrow streets of white-washed houses leading in to squares with market stalls and numerous cafes and restaurants. These streets in the Old Town also lead on to the spectacular beaches of golden sands interspersed with rock formations.
From Albufeira, you are in easy distance of all manner of sporting recreations and entertainment and, of course, fabulous beaches to the East and West. There is a market twice a month and a marina with restaurants, a few shops and many day trips out on sailing vessels.
Paderne is a small country village with a few shops including chemist and bank. There are also several good restaurants.
Getting around
For the sports enthusiasts, the Algarve has ideal conditions and top class facilities. The Algarve boasts a multitude of golf courses. Watersports are second to none with the West coast beaches offering the best surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing conditions.
Places of interest include the region's capital Faro and its old town, Loule and its market situated in a recently renovated Moorish building, Silves and its red fortress, Caldas de Monchique for its thermal waters, Portimao's old town and port, Lagos for its vitality and historical interest and Cabo de S. Vicente with its imposing light-house.
The Algarve is a children's haven with several exciting water parks, 'Zoomarine' sealife centre, horse riding centres.
