Alessandro's and Gabi's home is such a gem 😍 We rented the house last year in September for vacations, and fell in love with the house and the island! So, we decided to come back for a longer term stay and work remotely for 3 months (April-June), and it was one of the best decisions we could make! The house has everything you need for both short term and long term stay - fully equipped kitchen, AC, good wifi, big smart TV, swimming pool and lots of outdoor space for enjoying the nature and stunning views 😍 The hosts even prepared a box with equipment for doing exercise, which is really useful when you're here for a long term like us. The owners, Alessandro and Gabi are very nice and welcoming, and are there to help with all the questions. They also speak several languages! We still have some time left here, but already want to come back 😊

We loved our stay here. The nature and the house welcome you and provide you with a level of peace and bliss and relaxation that is hard to achieve otherwise. Relaxing on the hammock under the old olive trees is a magical Greek experience. Will be coming back many times in the future.

What a fantastic, peaceful place Villa Kalimera is! It has expansive views, a wonderful pool, and various garden seating areas. The interior of the house is decorated with a wonderful Greek flavor. There's an upper terrace with a view, where you can even sleep outside under the stars and wake to sunrises. The owners are super nice people and very helpful, with a quick response time. The house is a perfect base to explore the many beaches on this green island of Skopelo and it's only a few minutes drive down into town. I highly recommend staying here.

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans la villa Kalimera! Elle est très bien située, à 15 mn de Skopelos avec une vue absolument incroyable sur la mer, les îles, le port. Au soleil couchant, c’est magnifique ! Elle est aussi bien située pour visiter l’île et ses différentes plages. La maison est ancienne et a beaucoup de charme avec ses objets de famille, le jardin avec ses arbres fruitiers. La piscine avec la vue sur les collines est nettoyée tous les 3 jours de même que la maison. C’était très agréable ! Nous avons eu une excellente communication avec les propriétaires qui nous ont donné beaucoup d’informations avant le voyage et sur place. Un endroit authentique pour profiter de la vie.

We had a one-week-long vacation at Skopelos from which 4 nights were spent in VIlla Kalimera. Originally we booked the villa for 7 nights but due to the COVID situation our flight was cancelled and the alternative one departed 3 days later. Alessandro is one of the most supportive and correct hosts I've ever met, he changed our booking intermediately without any additional fee and answered all our questions very quickly. The Villa itself is fantastic, traditional Greek, cozy with a beautiful small garden and hammocks overlooking the pool and the hills. My favorite morning exercise was to pick up and eat the ripped figs that fell from the tree during night. Villa has a quiet terrace from which you can see the port, the sea and the hills alongside with other islands. So overall, I'd recommend the villa everyone who likes naturality and the transitional Greek style. If you arrive by ferry I strongly recommend to arrive to Skopelos Port instead of Glossa since the villa is located close to Skopelos city.

In wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Skopelos und am Strand, obwohl man dieses Paradies eigentlich garnicht freiwillig verlassen möchte. So spektakulär und grandios ist die Aussicht auf das Meer und die Insel. Die Ruhe und die leichte Briese, zusammen mit dem wunderschönen Garten und dem Pool lassen einem den Alltag fast vergessen. Und da war dann der Eigentümer Alessandros liebenswürdig, freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Er hat mit viel Liebe die Villa innen gestaltet, dass wir uns nur einfach wohlfühlen konnten. Von der komplett ausgestattenen Küche, über das Wohnzimmer, den Schlafzimmern und Bädern überall wird diese idyllische Atmosphäre spürbar. Die Aus-und Einblicke und mehrere Sitzplatze tragen dazu noch zusätzlich dazu bei. Alles was in der Übersicht beschrieben wird, haben wir vor Ort vorgefunden und wurde sogar noch übertroffen.Jederzeit wieder.

Siamo state una settimana a Villa Kalimera e non volevamo più andarcene. Un angolo di paradiso sulle colline di Skopelos. Una splendida villa di campagna piena di oggetti di antiquariato e piccoli dettagli molto curati. Fuori caldo, dentro casa, fresco. Che vuoi di più? Ci siamo godute il grandissimo giardino con tanti angoli dove fermarsi e la piscina per rinfrescarci. Il terrazzo ci ha accolte per l’aperitivo con vista sul golfo. Consiglio a tutti di andare a villa Kalimera. Una casa di campagna perfetta per trascorrere vacanze perfette. Casa con tutto quello che serve e anche di più. We love.

Our stay at this villa was just marvelous! The place is very quiet and relaxing. It's amazing for people who want to feel close to nature and like authentic traditional scenery of the Greek country side. We loved the house so much! All the furniture and vintage decoration give it a lot of character. We also enjoyed the garden because it's very shaded and comfortable with cute tables and chairs under olive trees. We spent a lot of time relaxing on hammocks and the swimming pool and we got a beautiful view of the sea and green hills. But our favorite place was the balcony from where we could watch the sea and the port. It was so romantic to have a glass of wine there under the starry sky. I absolutely recommend this place and I hope to return soon!!

We stayed for a week in the Villa Kalimera with 2 adults and 4 teenagers, and enjoyed it very much. There is one separate bedroom with (small) bathroom with a king size bed, and access to a terrace. In the kitchen/living room there are two couches opposite of each other that you can use as beds. Also a modest bathroom. And then on the second floor, it is like an inside balcony, there is a futon for two persons. This persons have access to the wonderfull terrace on the roof! Everything is personally decorated with some antique tools and handcrafts from local objects out of nature. It is very cosy. The kitchen contains everything you might possibly need, so you can perfectly prepare meals yourself. And then you can enjoy this meals on one of the very nice terraces in the garden. In that beautiful garden with large trees that provide a lot of shade there are three terraces, some in the shade, some in the sun. One nice round one, some bigger in front of the house and one in the middle of the garden between house and pool. The latest you can't fully use when the figs are ripe, because they fall constantly and drip. But you have al lot of alternatives. At last there is a terrace on the second floor with a stunning view on the Aegean Sea. You can see the boats enter the harbour. Very nice to sit there in the late afternoon. The pool was very nice, especially for the kids, but is also large and deep enough to exercise a bit. Around the pool there are sunbeds. The view from that side is magnificent. The house and pool where all very clean. And during the week we had some new linen and cleaning. The only thing some people might not like is that you have to wipe de terraces every morning with broom and water during the time when de figs are ripe and falling. Takes about 30 minutes, but we had no problem with that. And will only be in time that the figs are falling down, and I think this year was a very good fig year... There were also some wasps, but hardly a problem. The environment is very quiet. The street near the house has hardly any traffic. The owner keeps in contact with you far before your trip and provides in everything you need or want to know. Also during your stay you can reach him bij whats app and he quickly responds.
