We name them Calma because of the peacefull surroundings
Located only 150 meter from the beautiful beach of Ag.paraskevi .
Also the main road is closer and there are frequent busses to Skiathos town
Very close to the cottages we also own Calma Restaurant which you can have some beautifull Greek meals
The Cottages are comfortable ,ideal for quite and privet stay

Perfect Stay in Agia Paraskevi between countryside and the beautiful beach
Nikos the owner is very patient , friendly and extremely helpful. First time i visited Skiathos with my mum and was struggling to find an accommodation with no stairs or on the hill as my mum has knees issues.So glad I chose Calma cottages as it was an ideal peaceful accommodation with surrounded by beautiful green and flower trees and plants and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. I absolutely love the Greek style deco and wooden roof. The cottage is very clean,airy, cool and has a cute balcony facing the mountains. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by few very cutes cats , the place is so peaceful and have a feel of countryside as we heard few animals nearby. Nikos left a lovely gift for us on arrival, a big bowl of fresh grapes and also fresh grape juice which we truly appreciate. I found the mattress extremely comfortable as i have back problem and had the best sleep ever.
Nikos was also so kind as he offered to help us to find an accommodation for the next 2 nights as the cottages were fully booked for our entire stay. He came to pick us up and brought us to another accommodation to look at the place as well as bringing us back and never ask anything even when i offered.
I will also recommend visiting their restaurant as it is in a lovely location and Maria cooks everything with genuine ingredients

Outstanding experience
So pleased i chose Calma Cottages. Nikos is a kind, warm and very accommodating owner who went above and beyond to fulfil my requests for me and my mum. Calma cottages are the ideal accommodation in Agia Paraskevi, 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes walk from restaurants and 5 minutes to the bus stop to visit Skiathos Island . I loved the tranquillity and beautiful green surroundings. The front cottage where we stayed is very spacious and beautiful decorated with simple but impressive Greek style. It is cool and we never suffered the heat, bed are super comfortable and we have been welcomed with gifts of fresh juicy local grapes and grape juice which were delicious. Nikos also helped us to find an accommodation for 2 other nights because the cottages were booked for the whole duration. He came to pick us up by car and dropped us to see the accommodation and also brought us back without charging anything. Which was so kind of him. We went also to Calma restaurant and we had a lovely breakfast by the pool.

Somewhere never forgotten...
We had an amazing stay in Calma cottage. It’s in a great location, very close (10min) to local beach, and walking distance to many restaurants and local supermarkets. Every morning we had very enjoyable time on the veranda while drinking coffee and listening to cicadas:) Nikos and Maria are very friendly and helpful people. They own a restaurant with delicious home made cooking (highly recommended). Hope to return one day...

Perfect setting for relaxation
The cottage was well equipped, very clean and traditionally furnished. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. We had a lovely welcome from Mama and enjoyed many conversations with her - what a lovely lady. We were sorry to say goodbye to her.
The beach is 200m away and very safe. The cottages are ideally situated for local tavernas. The bus service is good. A short 15 minute drive and you're in the middle of vibrant Skiathos town.
The cottages were perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully designed, tardis like cottages perfectly placed
We have visited this area many times and stayed nearby at Green Park and could not get in there this year so we were recommended Calma cottages and what a great choice.
The peaceful setting and simple but brilliant interiors of these cottages with all that you will need for a self catering holiday - air con, safe, TV, well equipped kitchen area( also high quality king size double beds! ) made it just perfect for us.
The small touches such as welcome basket with fruit juices, coffees jam and butter and water in the fridge along with a small ironing board were also very welcome.
We are beach people but the gardens are lovely and so we spent some time there during the day as its so quiet and relaxing
The owners Maria and Nikos also own an excellent restaurant also called Calma which we visited a few times - highly recommended.
The cottage was kept very clean by daily maid service and Nikos mother Katarina lives on site and is always there if you need anything- her English isn't great, neither is our Greek, but we managed to converse, she is such a lovely helpful woman.
We have been back less than a fortnight and have been in touch to book again next year

PERFECT
We've stayed in this village twice before, but had to find alternative accommodation because the previous apartments were fully booked.
We were not disappointed with CALMA COTTAGES. So well located, as we knew, but situated on a peaceful plot away from the track which is just off the main road. I had to use a wheelchair this summer and we managed ok. Neither me nor my husband wanted to leave, a week is NOT ENOUGH!
'Grandma' lived next door to us and she was friendly without being obtrusive. She kindly picked peaches from her trees which grow nearby the cottages and gave us them straight from the tree.
The cottage was well equipped and clean and had excellent Wi-Fi. It was serviced daily. When my husband misplaced our keys, Nikos was super calm and it did not prove to be a problem for him. Such a lovely, welcoming couple; he and his wife Maria! We didn't hire a car and they offered to pick us up if we wanted to use the pool, which is situated on the restaurant site, not the cottage site. The restaurant was also great, serving delicious Greek food which we adore.
We've been home a few days now, but I just want to go back again sometime SOON!!

Nice spot for a picnic.
Lovely countryside setting. With added farmyard sounds from next door. A good little cottage that is perfect for two. Beds very comfortable. Only thing missing is an oven but I was not there for a bake off.

niedliches, kleines Häuschen :)
Sehr nette Vermieter, ein sehr süßes kleines Häuschen in Strandnähe. Mit dem Bus welcher fast direkt vor der Haustür abfährt kann man die ganze Insel erforschen. Das Haus ist dem Preis entsprechend eingerichtet und schade war nur das fehlen von WLAN, dass die Klimaanlage nur halb funktioniert und der Fernseher nur zwei Sender und diese auf Griechisch hatte. Die Anfahrt vom Flughafen war leider relativ mühsam da der Taxi Fahrer es nicht gefunden aber das ist nicht die Schuld des Vermieters.
Alles in allem ein nicht perfektes aber durchaus charmantes Reiseziel in schöner Umgebung. Perfekt für Pärchen und sehr kleinen Gruppen von Freunden. ;)

Sistemazione eccellente
Sono stato con mia moglie e nostro figlio di 5 anni presso uno dei cottage di Nikos e Maria, trovandomi benissimo! i proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili per ogni esigenza e i cottage sono fantastici: nuovi, tenuti perfettamente (pulizie quasi quotidiane), dotati di ogni confort (tv, clima, cucina attrezzata) ed immersi nel verde e nella tranquillità. Altro particolare non da poco a meno di 800 metri da una bella spiaggia servita e soprattutto posizionati strategicamente: in 10-15 min si raggiungono il centro città e qualsiasi altra spiaggia.

Calma cottage...il nome dice tutto..
Ho soggiornato nei cottages per due settimane con famiglia e coppia di amici.
Le villette sono molto belle, immerse in un grande giardino fiorito.
L'accoglienza di Maria e NIKOS è stata splendida..due persone molto disponibili e gentili.
Ogni giorno le nostre case venivano pulite anche la biancheria da letto e da bagno veniva cambiata.
La casa è in una posizione strategica per raggiungere le spiagge più belle dell'isola.
I proprietari gestiscono anche un ristorante dove si mangia molto bene.
Unico neo l'assenza del Wi-Fi nella struttura.
