Live-Bio is a lot more than a business to us. It is a lifestyle and a way to meet people! Interacting with our guests is a core element of our offering. We organise a number of activities in the local area (wine tasting, sailing, hiking etc) and we throw a dinner for our guests every now and then, just to meet each other better!
The property is on the mainland (Peloponnese) just outside the town of Galatas, offering gorgeous views to the island of Poros. Highly recommended for connoisseurs of relaxation and romance.
You will find all amenities you require in the region, including grocery stores, local produce markets, a beautiful spa and beaches (closest is a 5min walk away or 500m down the hill from Live-Bio). We also offer a number of activities in the area (excursions and day trips to various ancient sites and historical locations, wine tasting, cooking classes, yoga, cycling, hikes and many more) as well as memorable sailing trips in the region.
Our region is a great place for visiting nearby beaches, historical sites (including two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the Sanctuary of Asclepius with the gorgeous Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and the Palace of Mycenae in Tiryns), the stunning volcanic peninsula of Methana, the wine making region of Nemea and the famous Lemon Tree grove which is only 500 meters away. Poros Island is 2 minutes away on a taxi boat (costs 1 euro) from the town of Galatas.
We are 1.5 kilometers out of the town of Galatas on the Peloponnese, a leisurely 20 minute walk including a steep 200 meters uphill (hey, you cannot have gorgeous views and be at sea level! – we are located about 40 meters above sea level, the 200 meters is the walking distance, but still pretty steep!)
Being on the mainland, our property can be accessed by car and by ferry.
The drive from the Athens International Airport is 2.5 hours on a well sign posted route, also serviced by a regular bus connection. Alternatively, guests can pick up the catamaran from the Port of Piraeus and be at Poros in 1 hour. We will pick you up right there and take you to our property with our comfy car. If you wish, we can also organise a door to door pick-up from the airport, bringing you straight to your room with no hassle!
Come and enjoy the silence, whilst being a stone's throw away from the vibe.

Unbelievable
We had an excellent stay at Live Bio . Magdalena and Periklis are extraordinary hosts, always ready to give advice and tips .
The facilities are perfect , there is everything you need inside , the view is magical and we were able to enjoy the pool .
The location is ideal, quiet and perfectly placed for visiting the surrounding area.
Staying at live bio was pure happiness and an incredible moment of relaxation.
We'll definitely be back.

Live Bio, a must if visiting the Greek Islands.
The hosts, M & P, went out of their way to make us feel at home, provided us with all the local information which made our exploring of surrounding areas painless. There is so much to do and see. Beautiful! The accommodation was lovely, spacious, very comfortable with everything we needed, not to mention the most amazing views. Sunset and sunrise were of the best we have seen. We will definitely be back.

Magnifique séjour dans un cocon avec vue sur mer
Magnifique séjour passé chez Magdalena et Perikles qui ont su créer un petit cocon au calme avec une vue incroyable sur la mer et la ville de Poros. Le logement est très lumineux et très agréable,très bien équipé. Les parties communes permettent de sentir comme à la maison avec une petite piscine dont la vue est splendide. L’accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires est aussi un vrai plus !
La vue magnifique se mérite donc pour les moins sportifs Il est important de penser à prévoir une petite location de véhicule ( quad ou voiture) pour pouvoir profiter pleinement des alentours mais Magdalena a su la encore nous recommander un excellent loueur !

Πανέμορφο διαμέρισμα, φωτεινό με υπέροχη θέα. Καταπληκτική φιλοξενία. Μας έδωσαν χρήσιμες πληροφορίες σχετικά με το μέρος και που θα μπορούσαμε να πάμε και να φάμε καθημερινά. Σίγουρα θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε !

A balcony to discover Poros
A wonderful place for wonderful holidays.
The flats are luminous, tidy, clean amd very functionnal.
Our flat had a big terrasse with a brethless view on Poros and the sea.
Magda and Pericles offered has loads of advice and contacts to discover Poros and its surroundings in an unfogettable manner.
Thank you to both of you ! And thanks for the sailing excursion :)

Hidden Gem!
Our "Greek home away from home" was once again a perfect retreat! We enjoy Live-Bio so much that we routed our trip just to vist there again! The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and have breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountainous islands. The location in Galatas is convenient for visiting islands as well as some of Greece's premier historic sites, and is a bustling little town with fantastic food! Hosts, Magdalena and Periklis, are the best! They enjoy bringing their guests together for an evening of food and fun. It is awesome to sit at the "table of nations" and be as one. We will always love Live-Bio and revisit as often as possible!

A week in paradise
This is exactly what I needed, a peaceful break in one of the most amazing place in Greece, the site is perfect, you have your independence with your superb room and in the meantime you can share greats and friendly moments with the life bio family. You feel like home or sometimes even better and it’s hard to leave after few days of enjoying the infinite view from your room, the taste of organic olive oil and incredible Greek food. I had the chance of go hiking the volcano, to swim in the most amazing bays, to train myself to “yoga cat” and meet so many loving and passionate Greek people, thanks so much for this experience which was the best healthy retreat I could expect and far from my crazy Parisian life ! Your concept is just amazing and I would recommend it to everyone “just live bio” ❤️

Short group trip
We had a wonderful time at our hosts' place. They were extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants, activities and helped us a lot with the logistics for our group of 8 ladies from Portugal.
Accommodation is great and the beds particularly comfy; the place itself has a natural charm that allows you to relax and soak in the Greek way of life.
We can clearly recommend this in place and would come back anytime. Make sure to plan time and capacity for public transport, in particular during peak times/high season

Paradise on earth
At Live-Bio a spacious room, well-equipped kitchen and a breathtaking sea view is awaiting you. It’s a perfect place for beach birds, island hoppers, hiking enthusiasts or simply Greek food lovers (already miss Apagio Taverna) - the region has everything to offer.
This paradise on earth would not be perfect without the two admirable hosts. Magdalena and Perikles are very generous, happy to help, advise on most beautiful sights or simply share precious moments and memories over one, two… glas of wine :) Thank you, we truly enjoyed it and hope to come back soon again.

How to get there
Generally you don't need a car to get around, but if walking is not your thing, you might consider renting one in Athens or locally in Galatas town. Live-Bio is located a leisurely 20 minute walk including a steep 200 meters uphill (hey, you cannot have gorgeous views and be at sea level! – we are located about 40 meters above sea level, the 200 meters is the walking distance, but still pretty steep!) from the town of Galatas. From Galatas you can also go across to Poros island, 2min trip by taxi boat, 1 EUR one way). There is also a car rental place in Galatas so if you decide to do some road trips in the area, you can just get a car for a day or a few days and discover the nearby places.
