The Stone Cottage is situated 10 minutes from Kos Town ( by car) in the countryside area of Messaria and 2km from the nearest resort of Tigaki.Tigaki has one of the best sandy beaches on the island and offers a wide range of water sports. There are two large supermarkets within walking distance. There is a bus service which passes from the bottom of the road to Kos Town to see the many historical sites. Or you can go in the other direction to the other villages on the island. The view from the front of the property is looking over the owner's vineyard to the Aegean Sea with Kalymnos, Pserimos and Turkey in the distance. The view to the back is of Mount Dikeos (the only mountain on the island) which is 830 m.
