Kampos Villa II, is the first of the two autonomous villas nestled nestled in the countryside near Panormos village, in Rethymno, with breathtaking country side views, overviewing vast olive groves, small hills and of course the clear blue Cretan sky! Kampos Villa is a split-level Villa, covering 170 sq. m. and providing comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people.
Our guests will also have the chance to explore the surrounding area by riding the two bikes provided at the he beautiful countryside! Furthermore, the owners of the Villa own a traditional tavern, where you can enjoy your breakfast, homemade meals, coffee and ice creams at any time, as it’s just 50 meters away from the Villas!

Peace and tranquility 💓
Stayed at Kampos villas and it was amazing so clean modern and with all amenities simply breath taking views and the host is wonderful also few metres away their taverna with delicious Greek food and an amazing staff !!!! Definitely recommend 💯!!! Please take me back 🙏👍👍

Amazing, can’t recommend this villa enough!
Absolutely beautiful villa overlooking the mountains! Owners were lovely and own a taverna just down the path from the villa - amazing for us as we were able to put the children to bed and then they delivered some food to the villa for us! We paid extra to have the pool heated which was much needed with two young children. Location is great for exploring the island but you definitely need a car for your stay. Villa itself lovely and modern with the best black out shutters ive ever seen (great for keeping the kids in bed longer!). Booking dealt with by an external company (Think Villa) who were amazing before, during and after our stay. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about this place and look forward to visiting again in the future!

wonderful villa with excellent service

Family holiday
A really nice villa. Clean, new and modern and very spacious. Stairs leading down to the pool and in the house are not that kid friendly, but cosy and high chairs are available. Great covered play area for kids, but no baby pool as advertised.

Fantastic villa
The villa is absolutely beautiful! It’s nestled up in the hills with beautiful views. It’s lovely and quiet if you’re looking for a peaceful family holiday and it is perfectly equipped for families. We had fantastic communication with Valia who manages the rental and Xenia who is the owner and met us to show us around. For us the highlight was the taverna run by the same family, located at the bottom of the hill that serves great food as fantastic prices and they bring the food up the hill which was ideal with a young baby in tow who needed to go to bed. They also have a bit projector screen in the taverna which was showing the football which pleased all the boys on the trip! Could not recommend Kampos villas more!

Lovely villa
Lovely, modern villa equipped with all you need for a great holiday. There is air conditioning, though being up on the hill there was a lovely breeze most of the time which kept the temperature comfortable. Our teenage children really enjoyed the infinity pool and outdoor area. A PlayStation, table tennis table and table football also kept them entertained. Great views over the olive groves from the villa and pool area with lovely sunsets every evening. The cafe 50m from the villa and run by the owners serves great food at very reasonable prices. A 10 minute drive takes you to the beach at the resort of Panormo, while the bakery in Perama, 10 minutes in the other direction, is great for breakfast. There are plenty of things to do in the area.

Kampos Villas are located in Achlades village and are 60 meters away from a cafe and a lovely taverna that belongs to the owners of the villas.
In Perama town, 9 minutes away by car from the Villas, you can find everything that you might need like shops, bakery, grocery store, butcher’s, taverns, cafes, supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacies, gas stations and post office.
Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, 9 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds, umbrellas. Water sports are also available.The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop and a bakery.

How to get there
By air: There is no airport in Rethymno but there are daily scheduled flights from 'Eleutherios Venizelos' Athens International Airport to 'Nikos Kazantzakis' Heraklion International Airport and 'Ioannis Daskalogiannis' Chania International Airport. Charter flights from most European destinations arrive from April to November to both airports of the island.
By Sea: Daily itineraries link the port of Souda (Chania) and Heraklion with the port of Piraeus (Athens). There are also daily or weekly connections from the port of Rethymno to islands of the Aegean Sea (Santorini, Milos, Ios etc). Also, boats are leaving to various destinations from the nearby port of Souda.
By bus: There are daily and frequent bus services connecting Rethymno with the main towns and villages of the entire prefecture as well as with the towns of Chania and Heraklion.
By car: Its location makes it very easy to access both Chania and Heraklion cities, within an hour’s drive.
Since you confirm your booking, I will send you all the necessary information and directions, of how you will drive to the villa from the airport. I can also make some suggestions for excursions, local restaurants and night life, to help you discover the wonderful island that is Crete.
At your arrival, your hosts will be waiting for you, in order to welcome you and give you all the relevant information about the villa and the area. To arrange that, your flight details and telephone number would be very much appreciated, in case we need to contact you!
