Very close to the old market of Heraklion, leading to large commercial outlets, to the largest public hospital of the city and to the Knossos Palace. In central arteries of the city, such as the highway to city of Chania, Rethymno , Ag. Nikolaos and Sitia. On the coastal road, the Kazantzakis tomb and the Venetian wall (on feet). At 2 bus stations to eastern and western Crete. SUROUNDINGS: Cafes (melba cafe with sweets and crepes, cafe next to the house with cool food also) small taverns (amigdalies), bar (efkaliptos lounge bar and restaurant) and souvlaki spots, are very close to the house, maximum 5' to 10' on foot.

Getting around

To Historical & archeological musim, Lions square and Freedome square, herakluin market, just 10 min on foot. To Knosdos palace there s a bus stop 1 min away from the house. You pick no 21 bus to take you to the palace. Timetable can be provided.

BUS(Estimated time 60min): bus stop airport 145 or 146 》》 bus No 6,8, 10, 11,12, 13, 15, 17, or any bus to The central bus station at the port. Change there and take bus no 4 to Mastambas. Ask the driver to inform you whenever you arrive at Papandreou str. 126. It s a road 3 min away from PALAIOKAPA STR. From there It takes 3 min to arrive house. Otherwise take a taxi (estim.time 15 min). It approximatelly costs €15 from airport and it s certainly less tyring and quicker
