If you want to experience Athens away from the tourists this is a perfect little apartment. It is in a nice residential area with many good restaurants just blocks away. It is also an easy walk to the metro to get down town to all the tourist attractions. The apartment itself has 2 comfortable bedrooms with a small living room in the center. It nicely decorated and very comfortable. The host was wonderful. He really looked our for us and forced a taxi-driver to return 10 Euros that he overcharged us.

We couldn't believe this apartment could be as good as the website claimed - no it is better! Beautifully furnished, everything you need provided, walking distance to all sights, Jerry perfect host and giving us a little insight into Athens for the Athenians!

Visited Athens with husband and son; didn't actually believe apartment could be as good as photos or described on website! It is fantastic, clean, tastefully decorated throughout with all amenities to hand. Within walking distance of all sites and close to restaurants serving local cuisine. Jerry was there to meet us and very helpful during our stay! Thank you for helping to make our trip to Athens so memorable.

We were very comfortable during our stay. We especially enjoyed the decor and modern feel to the interior of the flat. It was also very clean and perfect size for the four of us. It was in the central section and we could access where we wanted to be easily. The owner Jerry was at our disposition for every question and he is a fantastic person! It was a good time!

This beautifully equipped apartment was so welcoming after our travels and the air conditioning gave such a relief after temperatures over 34 degree celsius. Everywhere was spotlessley clean with fresh towels and linen provided. The modern kitchen had everything we needed with some supplies already in the cupboards and a little welcome pack of backlava was waiting for us on the dining table. Jerry- the owner was there to greet us and gave us some very useful tips on where to eat during our stay. He directed us to a non tourist area a ten minute stroll from the apartment where we ate local dishes alongside Greek families at extremely reasonable prices- around £5 perhead for satsiki with pitta; souvlaki, Greek salad; chips and a cold drink. Most people we met in Athens were very helpful especially Jerry, however the economic crisis is evident and tourists do need to take care in Athens centre, paticularly on the Metro. Many shops will not take credit/debit cards and you do need to carry cash but we found that most shops were offering huge reductions on their products and bargains can be found due to the favourable exchange rate. Every Sunday there is a huge flea market in Athens centre that is a must see alongside the usual tourist attractions such as the Acropolis etc. Whatever we were doing this apartment proved to be a lovely retreat at the end of the day- we would highly recommend it. One final piece of advice: although there are plenty of taxis available right outside of the apartment block as Jerry to organise your transfer to and from the airport- it is cheaper :)
