My husband, parents (ages 70s) and 2 teens and I stayed here in early July. Great location and lots of space. For those who like details:
This is essentially the top 3 floors of a building that has small offices on the bottom floors. Very quiet- we hardly saw another soul. It is on a busy street but with Windows closed we found the noise negligible. Very light sleepers may need earplugs.
The first floor of the apartment (where you enter) has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, en suite bath with separate shower and tub. Also it’s own big balcony with view of the Acropolis. Big room, lots of closet space and big bathroom. The next room also has a queen sized bed, less space but still room for suitcases, has a smaller closet. It shares a full bathroom on the hall with the third bedroom which has a twin bed and a single futon. Also with some nice closet space. Both bedrooms have access to a small balcony, really just for standing. The 4th bedroom is small, twin bed only with a small ensuite bath that is really a half bath with a hand shower. My 14 year old daughter thought it was great- but it might be tight for adults.
On the next floor up is the main living area, lots of space and windows. Decent kitchen, lovely eating area and nice sitting area. For my fellow Americans, there is a washing machine but it is small. No dryer but an area outside to hang clothes. I wouldn’t plan on doing a ton of laundry but can definitely wash a few small loads.
Also a dishwasher which is nice, plenty of plates, cups, flatware, etc.
There is also a half bath on this floor.
The top floor is a loft with a sofa bed that sleeps one (my 16 year old son) easily- could probably squeeze 2 if needed. About a full size pullout bed. Nothing else on this floor except an awesome wrap around balcony to sit and drink wine and watch the sunset over the Acropolis.
With 6 we were very comfortable- you could do probably 2 more in the single beds in the third bedroom and still be OK.
The pool was fabulous on hot July afternoons.
Great location- we walked everywhere. The Plaka was about 5-10 minutes, where we ate a lot. Also there is a minimart about 2 blocks away to pick up breakfast items.
I will comment that this would not be a good place for those with limited mobility. There is an elevator that goes to the bedroom floor but you need to climb steps to the living floor. Also be aware with toddlers there are a lot of open steps, and of course the pool.
My teens and parents rated this an amazing place to stay. I would highly recommend for a family or small group.
Also I would recommend you let them arrange transportation for you to and from the airport, cruise ship, etc. They get the best rates.
