Amazing. Fun filled aswell as relaxing sun sea sand and good people.
I booked a girls trip for October 2023.
We arrived a little later than expected due to being stopped at the airport and all our bags being searched, however Micheal waited for us and welcomed us as we arrived at the cottage.
First impression 'wow' blown away. What a lovely cosy cottage. Fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The rooms where decent sizes and thr air con worked fantastically.
We had prior to put arrival booked a golf buggy to get us around but we quickly realised we don't actually wall enough in the UK and wanted to enjoy adding steps into our day and enjoying the heat or the sun beat down on us.
The 3 bed cottage had a quaint little bathroom and a great kitchen dining sitting area. The fridge was stocked with goodies for us and was a huge American fridge with space to fit all jlthe weeks shopping in.
The veranda wound itself round the front and side of the cottage and lead to a lovely pool great for dipping in in scorching temperatures. There was enough clean bedding and towels to last the week and the view of the harbour was simply breathtaking.
We was told part wY through our stay that we are to expect a hurricane and Micheal worked tirelessly to secure the cottage and grounds and move us to a safe condo just around the corner. Micheal even helped us move out belongings in his truck.
I highly recommend staying here.
We could not fault the place or it's owner. Micheal was always on the other end of the phone or passing to ensure we had thr best stay, and I must say it was the most amazing 10 day holiday ever. Amenities where close by lovely little restaurants and a supermarket filled with all u need.
Thank you so much Micheal we appreciate you and your lovely cottage. It was definitely a trip to remember forever.

Wonderful place to stay and great hosts
We had two weeks at Halls Waterfront villa in August. From the initial enquiry Michael was very helpful and responsive and this continued. Michael and Kim were both great hosts ensuring we had everything we needed and checked in on us through our stay either with a visit or a phone call. A very personable approach which we very much appreciated.
The villa was perfect with everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of space throughout and life saving air conditioning in the three bedrooms! The pool was a welcome and much needed addition as we experienced a Caribbean heat wave with temperatures above the norm!
We enjoyed watching the humming birds and lizards around the property and the fish in the harbour.
It is a lovely villa in a convenient location and can thoroughly recommend.

Piece of paradise
You can’t choose much better than Michael’s waterfront villa, either for location, facilities or helpfulness. From a week before, when Michael messaged us to warn us of some ‘funky’ weather, to welcoming us and ensuring throughout our stay that all was running smoothly, you can ask for a better host.
The villa is very homely, with all facilities you’d need. Although only a short golf-buggy drive to either of 2 empty beaches, the villa’s pool is a welcome addition with sufficient shade when the sun gets too hot.
The wrap-around outdoor deck, also in the shade, makes for the perfect space for backgammon, sitting watching the boats pass at the beginning and end of the day, enjoying a long rum and eating from the well-equipped kitchen.
Having previously rented one of the more familiar 2 bedroom villas familiar to Jolly Harbour, we can totally recommend the more spacious, more characterful, homely villa located on a quiet road adjacent to the golf course. Perfect for couples, families young and in our case, older children. Great location for the restaurants, (Al Porto is a regular must), the Epi (supermarket) aswell as pharmacy and should you need to rent a car, there’s also Pineapple rentals nearby too.
Thankyou Michael for your warm hospitality, making us feel very welcome from the outset, arranging for the tarpon to be swimming around for our arrival, and for the very accurate weather predictions, especially given the very early tropical storms that headed north and south of us during our stay ; neither of which affected our enjoyment of the perfect vacation.

Just perfect…
We spent a fun packed week here at Halls Cottage. The place was very well equipped, great location, pool and outdoor space - just right for our family holiday. Michael and Kimberly were super hosts and super attentive. The cottage is in a lovely spot, quiet and picturesque. The pool cooled the kids off and they even caught a fish on the waterfront. The wildlife is wonderful - the hummingbirds, frogs and lizards were very friendly and entertaining! This is a truly wonderful place to stay in jolly harbour, with the supermarket, car hire, and places to eat all nearby and the absolutely beautiful beaches - oh yes, will be definitely be returning to this stunning paradise! Thank you so much for letting us stay here . See you soon!

Absolutely the best place to stay!
We visited Antigua and stayed 2 weeks at the Hall’s Waterfront cottage in Jolly Harbour. I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful place. The comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen and sitting area makes for the perfect getaway place to stay.
The hospitality from Mickey and Maggie to ensure we were comfortable during our stay made us feel right at home.
The cottage is perfect with all the amenities needed for a relaxing holiday in the sun!
We enjoyed the dips in the pool, sitting out on the amazing wrap around deck, the views of the harbour especially the sunsets, the walks through the complex, the walking distance beach and the friendly atmosphere of the entire area.
The nearby grocery store that has everything needed to stock your fridge and cupboards and many wonderful restaurants to eat at right in the complex.
Walking as well as renting a golf cart to get around is a great idea and to get to another beach very close by.
We are definitely planning on returning next year and staying in the Hall’s cottage!
Thanks again to the Hall’s for renting out this perfect cottage in the sun!

FABULOUS
We have just returned from an AMAZING holiday in Antigua and my 2 adult Children and I stayed at the fabulous Halls Cottage ! Michael was a wonderful host ! Nothing was too much trouble from being there to greet us when we arrived ! Everything is immaculate and just a wonderful home from home feeling !! Michael checked on us regularly and nothing was too much trouble ! The house is absolutely perfect and a great place to stay both in terms of location and just the vibe as you can chill out if you want a day or evening at home with the beautiful deck and pool overlooking the harbour ! The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and great air conditioning too !!! The bbq was a great addition too !!
Thankyou Michael for being the perfect host and we look forward to seeing you again very soon !!

Fabulous place
In the words of my son……. ‘what a humble home’.
I stayed here at this waterside cottage with my husband and 2 young children and what a wonderful stay it was. Michael & Kimberly were very friendly & welcoming and at the end of a phone whenever needed.
Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting.
With plenty of beaches to choose from and local amenities close by it was a great location.
Would highly recommend.

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful time in Antigua and in Michael house in Jolly Harbour. There is a lovely beach not too far away (with a great beach bar/restaurant, Sandra’s) and also a supermarket and several restaurants and bars. All of these are within walking distance (although the beach is a long walk), but I’d recommend hiring a golf buggy. We found getting Caribbean food surprisingly difficult in Jolly Harbour!
Michael and Maggie were amazing hosts and were always on hand to offer advice or help, including coming to our rescue when we had a medical emergency, which I shall be ever grateful for. We’d love to come back.

Stunning views~charming cottage!
Location, location, location!
Just a half- hour from the airport, this jewel of a cottage is in Jolly Harbor, a safe gated community which is home to locals, Brits, Italians, Canadians, Americans, and others who have fallen in love with Antigua- one of the prettiest, greenest islands in the world with spectacular beaches and calm water especially here on the sheltered Carribean side.
From the cottage you can walk in 5 minutes to the beach- a great restaurant Al Porto- and several others. The supermarket is 5 minutes by golf cart- a fun form of transportation. The cottage has every amenity- comfortable beds and linens, great air conditioning in the bedrooms and a newly rennovated kitchen well stocked for any occasion.
The VIEWS from the big deck are amazing! Overlooking the waterfront, the sunsets are breathtaking!! The pool is a huge plus and great for moonlight swims.
The cottage is owned by the Hall family and if you are not in love with Antigua on arrival, this family will ensure you will be forever before you depart. The Halls will share with you all the gifts that travel bestows: love of the local traditions, an eye for the beauty of nature, passion for the sea, and an extraordinary warm hospitality and generosity of spirit that will keep you coming back as I have.

Absolutely Adorable!!
My wonderful friend gifted me this vacation and it couldn't have been a more perfect get away! The cottage is adorable with that perfect balance of rustic charm and character, while having all of the amenities one could want. It is right on the water, so the morning views are beautiful. I believe it faces west, so the sunsets are spectacular. The owners are the best part of the whole package. They drop by to check on you, and couldn't be more helpful with any question you might have. They gave us all sorts of ideas for things to do, helped us find tour guides, recommended restaurants and sites to see and generally treated us like family. :) They care about both their property and their guests and make the whole experience incredible. The place is truly charming and within walking distance of North Beach. We rented a golf cart while we were there, which took us to grocery, Jolly Beach and our fav two places to eat - Al Porto (excellent Mahi!) & Sandra's ( adorable bar/restuarant right on Jolly Beach - try the Pain Killer if you like rum!!). The pool is lovely and the air conditioning works well in all 3 rooms - 2 larger, one small. The community is gated and safe and the cottage is tucked away among vegetation, specifically there is a beautiful and enormous hibiscus bush (tree??). There is lots of shade on the porch where we spent much of our time sipping coffee and cocktails. There's a nice breeze and an overall feeling of calm and peacefulness combined with island hospitality. What more could a girl ask for? Thank you Hall family for sharing your special home with us! xo

It warms the heart when we make special people feel welcome and happy as it many times leads to wonderful friendships being created and keeps folks connected from such different backgrounds and cultures.I think this is what they love about our island life style which is what really matters in this life doesn't it?
