The apartment is on the ground floor. It has a private entrance through large private patio, includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom as well as a luxurious outdoor shower.
The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Other beaches are 15-20 minutes away or 5 minutes by car. They include:
- Bottom Bay Beach (our favorite!) - Crane Beach (very popular 5 star hotel, with great views) - Foul Bay Beach - Sam Lords Castle Beach - Plus a few more secret beaches, which we're happy to share with you!
15 minute drive to the airport 20 minutes to Oistins Fish Market, 30 min to the night life area: St. Lawrence Gap
We have been coming to Barbados for many years now and are familiar with the best beaches and sight seeing. We have a map upon request, which highlights the best places to see. Large and very well equipped Emerald City Supermarket is at Six Roads, 10 min drive.

Water and electricity are expensive resources on our little island. Please use responsibly and be sure to turn off all lights, fans and faucets when not in use. Lights on patio should be left on if you expect to return home after dark. Note: charges for water and electricity in excess of the charges for normal usage will be the responsibility of the guest.
A very spacious property , very well equipped kitchen and a large variety of yoga mats, weights etc. Water sports also catered for. Outside area was ideal for eating outside and relaxing in the evening. Pool and area around was wonderful Plenty of loungers, seating and water beds. The area was shaded in places which we needed when the sun got too hot The owner was a truly remarkable lady who does everything to make you feel welcome.

Wonderful breathtaking place!!!
I've been fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful place for a while. The apartment itself is gorgeous. Very styleful and equipped. Due to it's location there always is a nice breeze to distract you from the common heat. The pool serves the same purpose! I've been swimming and chilling in there day and night as I simply couldn't get enough from the salty water. The rest of the house and it's surroundings are gorgeous too! Definitely pay a visit to Ragged Point, have a walk along the cliffs and take a dip in the natural ocean pool called Shark's Hole.

Hostess with the Mostess
The Teta house was a perfect oasis with the best host in Barbados. Jana was very accommodating and full of great suggestions on what to do on the island. There is a lovely and clean pool on the property with a beautiful garden. The apartment is welcoming and super clean with a really cozy outdoor space. It’s also a close walk to a great swimming hole called Shark Hole. I would love to stay at this property again in the lovely and quiet neighborhood in St Philip.

The location does not lend itself to other attractions.
The salt water pool
Near enough to the sea so the sound of waves was soporific.
All amenities were of good quality and easy to use

About the neighborhood
There is beautiful new restaurant right by the entrance to the Sam Lord's Castle, called Dis Ole House. During the high season I recommend to reserve a table per WhatsApp.
Crane Resort offers 4 restaurants, little more pricey, but amazing views. The Carriage House has a happy hour from 5-6 and their lunch menu is affordable.
Convenience store is in a walking distance. It has all the necessities, but not much of a selection. You should do the first big shopping at the Emerald City supermarket at Six Roads.
Getting around
The best way to get around is a car. Buses run on the main road every 30 min direction to and from Bridgetown. The cost is US $ 2.75 per ride, you must have change! During the rush hour or on the weekend they have delays, so brace yourself with patience.

How to get there
Once you pass Crane resort, continue direction Sam Lord's Castle. Once you pass Union Road, the a Blue Convenience store on your left slow down and look for 'Atlantic Park' on your right. Turn on it. Then turn right again and follow the main road until sea facing. It is the bright yellow house on the left, called Teta, #159.
