About 5 minutes away is the famous Bolhão market, which characterises the soul of Porto and is full of fresh produce every day. A pharmacy is also just 2 minutes away. The Santo António Hospital is also 2 kilometres away, available for any situation.
As for gastronomy, which is also a symbol of the city, you'll find the Cervejaria Levare, with its famous Francesinhas, or the Escondidinho restaurant, with traditional Portuguese food, around 600 metres away. Filled with means of transport, you'll find the Trindade metro station 300 metres away. São Bento train station is also 600 metres away.

Great location for this flat which is at walking distance of all major visiting sites in Porto. The Bolhao market is just next door and so is the metro (30 minutes ride to the airport). There are quite a few options to eat around. The view is lovely and the elevator much appreciated since the flat is on the 5th floor. The place is spacious. Even if it is in the city center, it is not too noisy thanks to the double glazing. The bedding is fantastic. The 2 bathrooms are great. A few things could be improved: the equipment in the kitchen is a bit basic, a welcome bottle would have been nice (we've had that in other rentals in Portugal) and there was a disturbing smell of sewage in the apartment (maybe due to the fact that it is not occupied on a regular basis, it is a very well renovated apartment in an old building).
