On top of this, the apartment is just 2 minutes walking distance from Ferreira Borges Market, Palácio da Bolsa, Cathedral, Clérigos, Douro river, and walking across D. Luís Bridge you can visit the Wine Cellars of Porto. Eating and drinking is not a problem, because they are countless restaurants, wine bars, traditional grocery stores, where you surely fall in love for the food and wine of the Douro Valley.

    Central Location, Nice Size Apt, Terrific Host; Street Noise Can Be a Factor

    We recently stayed at Wine Apartments for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. Carlos, the owner, met us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment and then gave us some good info about the immediate area. He was very friendly and helpful....More

    Perfect location

    Close to river, shops, bars,and restaurants. Good size apartment with everything you need. Carlos was there to meet us from our shuttle bus and was very helpful with local knowledge. Would definitely stay again

    Walking is the better way to know a city! As we are just in the heart of Porto, you don't need any transport to see the major sights. Just walk around, get lost (in a good way) and enjoy!!

    Airport: http://www.ana.pt/en-US/Aeroportos/porto/Porto/Pag: 7.5 mi
    If you come by plane, the airport is very close to the center of the city and it´s very easy to reach to the city center.
    You can come by subway (Metro) or taxi.
    If you come by subway you must get the line to S. Bento Station and then walk about 3 minutes down Rua das Flores until a Church in you right side (Igreja da Misericórdia) and then you are immediately at Largo de S. Domingos where the apartment is.
    If you come by car, I take the opportunity to inform you that there is a covered and guarded public park 100 m from the apartment.
