About your Villa
This villa is located in Galamares, Sintra and has large wooded areas and lawns, a private pool and tennis/ football court. It is a typical Portuguese house with restored vintage furniture, tile panels and some fantastic details such as for instance the dining room chairs are lined with photos of family members. On the ground floor, we have a large and bright living room with large windows overlooking the garden and with access to a patio where you can enjoy a nice meal outside. It has a separate dining room with table and chairs for 8 and a fully equipped kitchen to cook your favorite meals. Also on this floor, there is one bedroom with a double bed, one full bathroom with shower, a guest toilet and an office with a sofa bed big enough for one. Both the bedroom and the office have a nice view over the garden. Outside there is a swimming pool, a support bathroom, and an outdoor shower. It has a tennis court that can be transformed into a football court with two goals. It has a very large area of lawn and a small artificial lake, it's an ideal villa for children to play safely or just to relax in the sun on a summer afternoon. On the 1st floor, there are three bedrooms, one with double bed another with two single beds (twin beds) that can be converted into double bed (on request and free of charge) and an en suite bedroom with a single bed and a full bathroom with shower. There is also a second full bathroom with bathtub to support the other two bedrooms. The villa has central heating, cable TV, wi-fi and a garage with direct access to the house where it fits one inside but you can park more cars outside. If traveling with children we can provide a cot and high baby chair (on request and with charge). At a 2min walk from the apartment, you have a very nice restaurant called Adega do Cozinheiro where you can buy some water, wine, juice and ice creams or enjoy a typical Portuguese meal inside or on the terrace. Sintra is a small city but you have everything you need at a 10min drive such as supermarkets, pharmacy, and grocery stores. Its a beautiful city very rich in monuments such as the Town Palace (Palácio da Vila) located in the main square of Sintra, the Palace and Quinta da Regaleira, the Palace of Setiais that was now transformed into a hotel but it’s worth a visit to its gardens and viewpoint from where you can see the Pena Palace and the Castelo dos Mouros.
