We've just returned after a 7 night stay in this gorgeous villa. It is very modern, large and accommodated our family of 8. The bedrooms are all large with adequate wardrobe space and lovely en-suites to all. It also had a lift to each floor which was great for us especially my mum. All bedrooms have a beautiful balcony with seating and sunbeds. The pool was lovely and inviting and very private. The owners have gone above and beyond with furnishings and all you would need. Sasha who looks after the property was always available to answer any questions. The villa is in a quiet location in walking distance to the town of Lagos and the beautiful beach. We stayed here as a group of 7 (6 adults and 1 baby) and felt very lucky to have found this villa. Very spacious, very clean and well equipped. Villa includes a wonderful outdoor space with a nice pool (heated), a games room with a ping pong table, a lift which was very handy when arriving/departing with the luggage as there are three floors to the villa. The lift was also very useful for our baby, so we could avoid using the stairs too often. House has two toilets, a main bathroom with a sauna and three en-suite bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi! Two large Double rooms and two spacious twin rooms, also includes a very large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. Villa has lots of balcony’s and plenty of great outdoor seating / sun loungers on each of them. There were lots of inflatable rings / flotation devices for children using the pool which was a really nice touch. Outdoor bbq’s are also included on the balcony’s and the kitchen is well equipped if eating and cooking in the villa is desired. One thing that was really important to our party when booking the villa was the location, my father is 76 and although extremely good for his age, he suffers with his knees so I was very pleased when we discovered that the Marina was only a five minute walk from the villa. Getting into the centre of town on foot takes about 15 minutes but it is an extremely pleasant walk and is something most of our group did four times a day to go back and fore to town for food and drinks. The main supermarket is a 10 to 15 minute walk away too so again this is very accessible. Taxis are readily available at good prices, including Uber and local firms. We paid €2.50 euros on average to go from the villa to town. We love Lagos, my husband and I have been three times now and it is a town that has so many lovely things to offer, great beaches, historical town and fabulous restaurants. Finding this villa has made it even more appealing and given the opportunity we would definitely choose to stay here again. If I had to give any suggestions to other guests when staying with a young baby, if staying more than a few days it would be better to have proper cot bedding with you, rather than towels and sheets provided. Next time we would probably take our own travel cot as there was very little padding on the travel cot mattress supplied so you could feel the supporting base slats. Having said all this, our baby didn’t know any different and was happy enough and it’s very good to have baby equipment supplied in the first place so what we had was much appreciated. I would recommend taking a seating device of some sort for young babies too, there is a high chair and a baby walker at the villa. Really good for older babies but our baby of four months isn’t able to sit unaided yet and was too young to support himself in these devices. A bouncer or suitable seat means occasionally having free hands so that would have been welcome but for older babies the villa was well equipped. I have left a very detailed review in the hope that this really helps other people when choosing their accommodation. I know we have previously stayed in places that claim to be fantastic or in walking distance of everything but it’s fair to say this villa really is as good as it sounds! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The owners communicated very well with us and helped with all our questions and queries. Thank you for a truly great stay!

Great location within easy walking distance of Lagos marina and town centre. Railway station if you need it even closer! Immaculately clean and well appointed. House is on 3 floors with an elevator. Ideal for luggage but not really necessary for people. Kitchen/Dining area was on middle floor with a very nice outside dining area together with sofas and sunbeds. Other properties either side make for noisy balcony neighbours but we had great people either side and we enjoyed it. After all, they and us were on holiday. it was a great way to get to know other people. Pool was superb and very clean. It was also cleaned during out stay. Views of Meia Praia were good and within walking distance. It was pricey but well worth it.

Very good location. Walk : 5 mins to Beach, 5 mins to Marina, 10-15 mins to town. Arranged over 3 floors with open plan lounge kitchen dinner and large outdoor terrace on middle (1st floor). 4 good sized bedrooms. Modern design Nice pool (tho' a bit cold) Huge TV, Lift (handy for luggage to 2nd floor), Sauna Good cleaning and meet service As a townhouse it is terraced with has close neighbours on both sides so wish for luck regarding noisy neighbours

Casa da Fayella was perfect for our group of 7 adults, being within easy reach of everything we needed. We did not have a hire car, but within 15 minutes walk were restaurants, bars, beach, supermarket, marina (for boat trips), train station and bus station. The villa (a 3 storey townhouse with a lift!) is beautiful, as you can see from the photographs, and very well equipped with everything you need. Wi-Fi works well and the villa has an enormous TV! The housekeeper, Sasha, was so helpful, meeting us on arrival and always just a phone call away for any queries. The swimming pool is small, but ideal for cooling off, and kept at a very pleasant temperature. You can walk to the Pingo Doce supermarket in 15 minutes and they will call a taxi for you for the return journey. Also Uber works well in Lagos, and the number 2 bus route goes along that main road too. Recommended days out by bus/train are Cape St Vincent/Sagres and Silves.

Great location within walking distance to the beach and also to the 'old town' of Lagos. No need for a car. Everything you need is supplied including an excellent coffee machine which was well used during our visit. We definitely would visit again.

We, as an extended family of 6 adults and 3 children, had a fantastic holiday in this well equipped modern villa. The layout of the accommodation meant everyone had their own space if needed, but with so much outdoor area we could all enjoy the pool and the evening BBQs on the spacious terrace. The kitchen has everything you need and the coffee machine was a real hit with everyone. The location of the property could not be better, and is within easy reach to the Meia Praia beach and also the Marina with a short stroll over the bridge to Lagos town centre. It was a pleasure to deal with the villa owners, and the booking process simplicity itself . I cannot end this review without mentioning Sasha - nothing is too much trouble for this girl and she was such a help and support during our stay. If we choose to return to Lagos for another holiday this villa would be our first choice.

We really enjoyed the stay in this fully equipped apartment. The house is well kept and spacious, location is great with the Marina and centre being within walking distance. Sasha was very accommodating during the visit, we will return!
