This is a beautiful, luxurious, newly furnished spacious apartment in a secluded, peaceful yet convenient position with views of the town, sea, countryside and Marina. Main balcony overlooks shared swimming pool and landscaped gardens. Situated on the 2nd floor, the apartment is west facing and receives the sun throughout afternoon and early evening. Ideal for dining out on balcony. A real home from home. Electric shutters, entrance gates and underground parking. Video entry phone. Central vacuum. Lift to all floors. Roof terrace. Fantastic
Stayed for 2 weeks in this fantastic apartment. It has everything you need for a great stay. You are met on arrival by Carlos who is very helpful. Ease of booking and contact with Paula is very good. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Lovely apartment - everything you could want for a great holiday
Lovely, spacious apartment which is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Within approx 20 minutes walk to the beach and marina. Small shop nearby and local supermarkets all close to hand. Secure gated access and private pool (which although small is still quite sufficient for relaxing by as an alternative to the beach).

Perfect place to stay very near to excellent beach and Marina
Very near to the lovely Meia Praia beach, excellent apartment very private, with lovely gardens and pool. A 5 minute walk from the Marina which offers cafes, restaurants, boat trips and bars. Lagos is a lovely old town with lots going on and many restaurants. This apartment was difficult to fault and we have already booked another stay later this year.

Very good apartment
I liked the location. We had great views out over the town and toward the sea. The apartment provided everything we needed, with the possible exception of air conditioning, which we may have missed had we holidayed in a hotter period. What stopped me awarding a 5? The showers were not the best, and the pool could have been a bit bigger. A small point but of importance to me because I like swimming.

Hi Nick. I'm sorry you felt you couldn't give us a 5. I appreciate that the pool is small as it shows on the photos. We do not advertise air conditioning and our guests who have questioned it before booking in the past have found it to be unnecessary as we are in an airy elevated position and the apartment is usually cool and comfortable. As you say, you did not miss it when you were there. I would like to point out for any other possible guests that we also provide free standing fans and a ceiling fan in the main bedroom. I will check the water pressure when I am there in a few weeks to see if there has been a problem. Thank you very much for your custom.

Excellent accommodation, so clean, everything you need, home from home!
Lovely location, near beach and shops. Apartment is fantastic, so spacious, lovely balconies, great views. Fully equipped kitchen. Two lovely bathrooms with nice hot showers and luxury jacuzzi bath. So relaxing, small pool with sun beds, secured entrance. So enjoyed sitting on the balcony eating breakfast, listening to the birds singing. Just want to be back there, fantastic hostess, nothing to much trouble.

Amazing
Just returned from a ten day stay in this great apartment from the straightforward and pleasant dealing with Paula ( the owner) to the meet and greet with Carlos everything went smoothly.the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you need to have a great stay with extras like the WiFi, washing machine, tumble dryer, the balcony was lovely to sit and look over at the views of the town and the beach ,a short walk from the apartment about 5 to ,7 mins takes you into the town were you will find a different place to eat each night , beach towels are provided for you so it frees up some luggage space,the pool is clean and just the right size, my two daughters enjoyed plenty of splashing about and no need to rush out and get sunbeds as they are all provided for you ,all in all a great holiday would definitely go back and would tell anyone that they would not be disappointed,a wee gem.

3rd time back to the apt
Well located - probably an easy 10mins from the Marina and a 5 min drive from the beach - apt has a terrace that would seat 4-6 with a good sea view - place has a quality feel - if you want to eat in its fully equipped, good size rooms, good bathrooms
I guess just be aware that you have to go down a hill (and thus climb back up it) when you go to town - its fine for families / kids etc but if your elderly it could be a struggle

Fabulous stay at a wonderful apartment
Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely apartment, chosen from previous reviews. Everything as described, the apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. The communal areas were well maintained too and the lift was a bonus. A small cabin case is all you need as the washing machine is extremely useful and the boiler ensures a hot shower every time! The balcony off the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and the second balcony off the living area, with a great sea view, is great for afternoon sunbathing or enjoying an evening drink. The pool and garden are well maintained, which we had pretty much to ourselves. The location is a residential area so lovely and peaceful. There is a small shop over the road or the supermarket is only a short walk away. At the Marina and beyond in the old town there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops where you are spoilt for choice at reasonable prices. The owner Paula is a delight, answering all our questions with very prompt efficiency, providing helpful information. Her manager, Carlos, had already looked into a taxi enquiry prior to our arrival, but was there to greet us and assist us with local directions. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family but would prefer to keep for ourselves!! In fact we are already looking into for next year! Book and you won't be disappointed :o)

About the neighborhood
Lagos is, in our opinion the jewel of the Algarve. You would need a a stay of several months to visit all the fabulous restaurants and bars in the town and the Marina alone. There is so much to do and see from dolphin watching, sea fishing, grotto trips, cycling, water sports, zoos, water parks to lazing around on the beach, pool or balconies. Local beaches are amazing. There are lots of excellent recommendations in our visitors' book. Feel free to add to them. Every bar provides Free Maps with lots of information.
Getting around
You can choose from hire car, cycle hire, local buses, Petit Train from the Marina or train. All are conveniently situated in or near the town centre.

Car hire from Faro airport is easy and convenient. There are numerous taxi and shuttle bus firms available - just Google it. You can also get a local bus or train from Faro city terminii. Get to them by taxi from the airport. There is also a local bus from the airport to the bus station in Lagos. Full directions and contact details are sent nearer your stay.
