Vista Baia is a small luxury condominium of just 9 apartments which share a lovely free form pool and landscaped gardens. The apartment has electric gated entry and underground parking. The apartment is set in a superb location in a quiet area just across the road from the golden beach of Meia Praia. Fast Free Wi-Fi (500mb fibre) now available in the apartment . Satellite TV with all Sky Sports and Movie channels, BBC/ITV, CH 4 & 5 etc and catch up TV on main channels. There are 2 beach bars across the road and a restaurant next door. A further 2 beach bars, a bistro and a restaurant are just a few minutes walk down the road. Lagos Marina which has numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, shops etc is a 30 minute walk via beach or road. A fold up bed can be provided by our management company for a 5th guest if required, a charge of £95 per week will added to cover the cost of the bed and for the additional cleaning/laundry charges. We had a great stay. The accommodation is exactly as on the pictures. Very comfortable and opposite of the beach . We will definitely come back . Very good and quick communication with the owner.

I have visited Vista Baia many times in the past this is the first time in over a year due to the pandemic and as usual it never fails to impress the apartment is clean and spacious and has everything you would want facilities wise for a great holiday with the beach 5 minutes across the road bar and restaurants close by easy access into the town of Lagos on bus or train its a great location

Our second visit, wonderful apartment, clean, safe, well presented and well equipped. The owner is always prepared to go the extra mile and the local management company are very professional. This apartment and it’s location ( a complex of just nine apartments) meets all of our needs. Just over the road from the beach and two bars/restaurants as well as bus & train stops, with another restaurant next door and golf nearby for those that want it. The corner apartment is very clean, comfortable and ideally laid out with the pool literally outside the patio doors. For those who choose not to drive then a bus drops you at the supermarket (although it is a two mile walk back) and there is a ‘local’ small supermarket just over the road. Underground garage is available for a car with an accessible storage room where beach/pool equipment can be borrowed. All in all a great venue for a relaxing break - you will not be disappointed.

Vista Baia was the perfect holiday accomodation for us. The apartment was clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pool area was an oasis of calm during our time there (end of June - to mid July) and was also well maintained. In fact, whenever we were at the apartment, it was peaceful. We highly recommend it. Lagos is about 2.5 - 3 miles away and was easy to get to by car. There is also a local bus service running every hour all day, every day and costs E1.20 each way. The stop is across the road by the train station. A road train starts about 500 yards along the road and also runes every hour with a break for lunch. The trip takes 1 hour and costs E3.50. It was our first time in Portugal and we really enjoyed it.

We booked the apartment on the recommendation of my sister. From the initial email with Shaun he bent over backwards to help. The apartment was spacious clean and tidy with everything you need for the stay. The ground floor apartment is brilliant 5 steps away from the pool good shade for the hot weather. The beach was 5 minutes walk away lovely sandy beach. Lagos about 1 1/2 mile walk. There is a free carpark about 1/4 mile away from the marina. Overall lovely clean apartment and would book again thank you Shaun.

Another fantastic stay at Vista Baia. We love it here. Its everything you could wish for. Lovely pool, apartment, right across from the beach and 2 great beach bars/restaurants. Bus stop and train station. Communication with Shaun smooth as usual and Paulo over in Lagos is very helpful too. We cant wait to go back.

Vista Baia is situated in a lovely position a stones throw from the beach of Meia Praia. The apartment is great, indoors is well equipped and very comfortable but it is the outdoor space that makes it special-a huge patio with the most comfortable chairs and sun loungers and only a couple of steps from a great pool.We didn't have great weather but thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Vista Baia is in such a wonderful location the beach is only five minutes across the road with two great beach bars there is easy access into the marina and lagos town by bus or train which run to time.The apartment is clean and spacious with a great pool we have lost count the amount of times we have stayed at vista baia we are always sad to leave vista baia we have already booked for september and cannot wait to return. About the neighborhood
Lagos is without question the most interesting town on Portugal's Algarve coast, offering not only great beaches nearby but also a real history and a pretty town with varied and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The Marina at Logos also has a variety of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Once the capital of the Algarve, its origins date back to 2,000 years B.C. Lagos is a typical small town where the Portuguese famous past History is still visible in its architecture. It owns some of the most popular and beautiful beaches on the Algarve region. Visitors are presented with a wide range of activities in the Lagos area such as golf, windsurfing, diving, surfing, kite boarding, caving, horse-riding and many others. Boat tours, dolphin trips, deep sea fishing outings can be booked at the Lagos Marina.
Getting around
Onda bus - there is a bus stop just across the road from the condominium entrance. The price into Lagos marina is 1.20 euro. The price into lagos is 1.50 euro. Uber Taxis - There is a fantastic Uber taxi service operating in and around Meia Praia & Lagos Fun Train - approx 5 mins walk down the road you can catch the fun train which runs hourly and the cost is 3.50 euro for an all day pass. This can take you to the marina, into Lagos or to the beach (Praia Dona Ana).

How to get there
Major airlines and low cost airline companies fly to Faro International airport from UK and Europe. Travelling from the airport to Lagos is around 90Km and will take you approximately 55 minutes by car. Shuttle Bus and taxi services (130 euros return) operate from Faro airport direct to you accommodation. Regular Train service departing from Faro rail station to Lagos will take approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Various Car hire companies such as 'Avis; Hertz; Europcar...' have desks available at the Airport terminal.
