Stunning, a wonderful cottage in an ideal location.
From the very first contact with Francesca & Paulo, to our arrival and then our departure, they were always on hand to offer advice about our stay and the options whilst we were there.
My wife and I have stayed in many Tripadvisor rentals, and this has to be in the top three, with every modern amenity and facility provided, even down to a bottle of wine, snacks, bathroom products and even beach towels and umbrellas.
They are lovely people whose only concern is the satisfaction of their guests, and they have extensive literature in the cottage to inform you of the region you will be staying in, which was invaluable to us.
The local area was packed with large and small restaurants, both 'touristy' and traditional, and we ate and drank like royalty.
The local transport is reliable, both the trains and buses and it is easy to travel away from Faro.
We can 100% recommend this property for two adults wishing to have an independent and safely supported holiday...excellent, thank you both.

A Rare Gem
What a superb place to stay. Right on the edge of the old town, with everything in walking distance.
The cottage provides everything you could possibly want for your stay. All equipment and furnishings are modern, very clean, light and airy. We loved the roof terrace which was warm enough to sit out even in December.
Our hosts Paulo and Francesca contacted us regularly to check we had everything we needed. Paulo also took us to the laboratory for our LFT, as it was Bank Holiday not all Chemists were open.
This lovely quirky place and the owners deserve a 20 out of 10.
I would not look for anywhere else to stay, when we come back again

Really thoughtful accommodation in a great location
This cottage has it all: a great location; it’s well decorated; clean and full of really well thought-out touches that make you feel at home.
As a host Francesca could not be faulted. She was willing to give assistance as required and happy to offer lots of local tips.
We would definitely recommend Sunny Cottage to anyone visiting Faro. It’s was the perfect base from which we explored the surrounding area.

A great stay!
We had a wonderful 3 night stay @ the Sunny Cottage. The pictures are exactly what it is like & it is in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean & well equipped with even toiletries. Hosts were amazing with keeping in touch, booking transfers & the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We loved the sunny roof terrace & would definitely recommend staying here! We did not want to leave!

Sunny Cottage - a great place to stay
Well located, cozy and excellently equipped apartment in the old town of Faro. The roof terrace is great for chilling out in the evening after discovering the South of Portugal.
You can find good restaurants and all interesting places within short walking distance.

Sunny cottage experience
We had a great time. The welcome upon arrival was warm and friendly. They have thought about everything a traveller could encounter. Could not think of anything that would be missing - taking into account kitchen appliances and bathroom toiletries.
Location was perfect! Everything was walking distance hence you could easily pop things home (or use private bathroom).
We also made use of the prearranged pick up and drop off.

Home from Home 5*
The cosy apartment has everything you could possibly need, it’s like home from home. Situated in the old part of town, with shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Plus a10 minute stroll to the marina and ferries etc. I loved it, oh and a large roof terrace for meals and wine. Perfect. Thanks again for a very relaxing stay.

Fabulous
Lovely cottage in a perfect location for visiting Faro. Paulo & Francesca were wonderful hosts and Sunny Cottage had all that you could need for a perfect stay. Two great outdoor spaces that we made the most of despite the wet weather. Thankfully both spaces were sheltered. Would thoroughly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Faro.
