Depending on arriving / departing of guests, I will endeavour to have our apartment ready on your arrival at Solario if you arrive before 4pm. Our check out time is 10am. This is to allow our cleaners prepare our apartment for our incoming guests. If you require a late checkout, it is probably best for your own comfort to book an extra day.

A fabulous apartment in a great complex, very clean and spacious with a lovely balcony to relax later afternoon and into the evening.
The apartment is well equipped with a home from home feel.
Shirley was a perfect host, great communication and very helpful, great response to anything we enquired about including tips on beaches and eating out.
A great find on our first holiday in Albufeira, we will definitely use the apartment for future holidays in Albufeira.

Outstanding accommodation
My parents, son and I spent 3 weeks of our summer holidays in this spacious well appointed fully furnished comfortable apartment. This is the 3rd time we've stayed in these apartments and would definitely come and stay again. The agents were always available and willing to help. And the local information left by the owners was very helpful.

Perfect family complex
This is a great family complex with something to suit all ages. From the children's play area to pool tables and a fantastic pool including a.separate children's pool. The complex is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The apartment is first class and we would recommend it to everyone. Shirley H the owner is a dream to deal with and we look forward to returning.

1 week family holidain Solario apartments Alufeira,Portugal
Myself,hubbie and our 2 kids 2 and 4 stayed in Solario for 1 week from 30th Sep to 7th October and what can i say.Everything from the minute we booked apartment to getting there was amazing.Shirley could not do enough for us with her helpful recommendations,welcome pack and of course beautiful apartment.We were met by Juliette on arrival and what a lovely lady too and so informative. This apartment complex is child friendly and the apartment was stocked up with books and dvds. Dvds for children which i thought was brilliant as our 2 year old liked to take breaks from the pool!We rented a car but you could easily walk to strip or if you don't have young kids you could walk to the Old Town in Albufeira which is about 20/25min.We used to either drive or take a taxi which only cost €6 to Old town.We will definitely be back to this gem.

Stayed in appartment m . First floor .
fantastic appartment sleeps 6 fully equiped kitchen , front and back patio with balcony with lovely views from balacony . Fresh bed linen and towels .
Pools very clean and well kept .
Also on site was gym ,pool table, kids pool & play area .
5 mins walk to new town & 5 mins taxi to old town . Great restaurants and bars in both with entertainment most nights . Lots of shops & markets also in both areas.

Familymoon
After a lot of researching I found these apartments for our family moon (honeymoon with the kids) and was extremely impressed. (We visited August 2016 but we can't go back that far on trip advisor to add the actual month)
I was very apprehensive about booking separate flights and accommodation as we had a 6 month old, however, the communication between the owner of our apartment was fab. He responded to all enquiries and was understandable about my nervousnes.
The accomadation was spotless, 2 bedrooms, great size living room and kitchen and we had a brand new travel cot for our youngest.
All the apartments face the pool in a horseshoe style, allowing us to watch our 9 year old play safely in the pool.
The apartments are extremely safe, with a locked gated entry and locked shutters on the windows and doors, which were great to block out early morning sunshine.
We walked, with a buggy, to Albufaria main strip within 10 mins where it is bustling with bars and eateries, accomadating all tastes.
There was a supermarket at the bottom of the hill that the apartments are on which was quite steep and may be a struggle for some.
The beaches are stunning and are walkable or a little bus ride along.
Fab family moon and highly recommended.

Brilliant apt
Stayed in this lovely apartment for 10 nights. Easy booking via Tripadviser and prompt reply from Shirley to confirm. Shirley provided a comprehensive document covering how to work TV/wifi/sun loungers/codes for gates and list of restaurants that she recommended. This was very useful! Met by Juliette after excellent transfer using Yellowfish(€64 return.) Very friendly welcome and reassuring to know Juliette lives nearby if we had any problems! Apartment was very spacious and air con excellent. Balcony catches sun in afternoon right to evening so nice chilling with a wine! Very close to the "strip"- 5/10 min walk. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Old town a bit further(30/40 mins) but only €6 in a taxi if it's too hot to walk.! Big supermarket at bottom of road which was ideal. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. The only thing I would mention is that it is up a slight hill....just a consideration for the less fit/elderly, especially in the heat and carrying supplies from supermarket. Fantastic holiday. Excellent accommodation, highly recommend
A fantastic apartment in a quiet residential area just 10 minutes walk from the busy Strip. 25 minutes walk to the Old Town. 2 minute walk to a Lidl style supermarket which Is very convenient. Very spacious apartments with a pool which was ideal for our 3 young children. Electric shutters on each window/patio doors act as a sunscreen which is a huge help keeping kids in bed in the morning. There's a large balcony overlooking the pool. Brilliant for eating out or just relaxing. Shirley, the owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with also. The apartment is large enough to comfortably accommodate a family of 5 or even 6 if needed. Kitchen is equipped with all white appliances which is very handy. I am planning on taking our family back to Albufeira next summer and hope to stay in this complex again.

A lovely family apartment
Close to supermarket, restaurants, bars and take aways the apartment has everything that you need for the perfect family holiday. Far away enough from the strip to be peaceful but near enough to walk for an evening out.

There are opportunities to enjoy all water sports, golf and horse riding. The Zoo marine sea life centre is close by, together with a large Waterpark, Slide and Splash and the huge Algarve Shopping Centre to satisfy any Retail Therapy' needs!
If you want to get away from the coast for the day then a drive to Monchique and Foia (the highest point of the Algarve) is highly recommended. On the way you could visit the castle in Silves and stop for lunch of chicken Piri-Piri in the small mountain town of Monchique. It will take you less than an hour to get there. Two large shopping centres are Algarve Shopping; in Guia and The Forum in Faro just 20-30 minutes by car. The Algarve Shopping is a large mall which is approx. 5 minutes drive away. Taxi costs from Albufeira 10euros each way. Here you will find a variety of shops, a big supermarket, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema (most films are in English with Portuguese sub titles) and a food hall.
Alternative ways of exploring the Algarve are by joining one of the many jeeps that head out each day (high season) to explore the unspoilt Algarve.
There are plenty of great boat trips leaving from Albufeira every day. You can choose from a full or a half day and this can often include a trip into the caves and grottoes of the beautiful Algarvian coast line. If you fancy a drive into Spain then the border is only a 50 minute drive and Seville approx two hours depending on traffic.
As the Algarve spans a large area with wonderful sights and attractions, car hire is highly recommended to explore, but not essential as Solario is located a few minutes walk to the center of Albufeira. Many award winning golf courses Zoomarine
