We were a party of 16 (including an 8 month baby) and had a mainly delightful stay in Villa Tigonema and its Annex. It was spacious and roomy in the main villa and rooms were clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we managed to eat several meals and had a couple of barbeques with not many problems. The bathrooms were dated but ok with plenty of hot water. The only negative, was there was only one plug socket in each room which caused a few problems. The washing machine failed after a few days but there was one in the Annex we could use. The pool and the area surrounding was ideal for all of us. There were plenty of sunbeds and tables and chairs (even though they were very warn and dated) The Annex was obviously not used as much as it smelt musty and there was an infestaion of ants. This was a concern at first but we found that the owners had left us some ant spray, so it was not too much of a problem. One of the bathrooms was big and plentiful of hot water most days. The other bathroom was not used as it smelt very musty and damp. I would go back to this Villa but not use the Annex the location was awazing, a fw minutes walk to the Strip and a teny minute walk to the Old Town of Albuberia.

We stayed at villa tigonema for 1 week just returned home on Sunday, 14 of us stayed using both main villa & annex ages 18months to 65! The villa had everything we needed bedrooms were clean, kitchen well equipped, towels & bedding all provided. Pool area was lovely and spacious with plenty of sun loungers. (4 new ones delivered whilst we was there) We had a BBQ one night which was lovely. Villa is only a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants in new town and old town is a short taxi ride, the old town square is lovely. The beach is about a 15min walk and is a lovely beach. I would definitely recommend this villa and Dale was so helpful from start to finish always replying to emails and queries. We also booked the transfers via Dale which saved us time. He was also very helpful in organising travel to a family wedding. The deposit has been paid back very swiftly. We've had one of the best holidays spending time with family old & new.

We stayed here as a family of 9, ages ranges from 6 to 56. We had a private transfer arranged for us. On arrival we were met and taken to the office to collect the keys. Dale then met us at the Villa and showed us around. There was plenty of space for us all and it never felt cramped. The Villa is in an excellent location no matter what type of holiday you want. The beach is around a 10 min walk away, we walked with kids so I could probably have made it there a little quicker myself. At the end of the road is a fantastic bar called Johnny Hoopers Saxophone Bistro I recommend you try this place. The Strip is only a 5 minute walk away, and although it can be a little noisy at night time it never bothered us too much. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within a 2-5 minute walk. Dale was fabulous right from the day of booking. He arranged all our trips for us and transfers to get to places. I cant recommend this place enough.Thank you for a fabulous week.

we stayed at villa tigonema for 1 week with a of eleven girls (aged around 18). We enjoyed our stay in this house, especially the outside area which was very spacious. The best thing about the house is probably the big pool with the sunbeds surrounding it. The villais located very central in the new town of Albufeira, perfect for a group of young people because the strip is at a 5 minute walk. The old town is at walking distance as well although we preferred taking a taxi which is a 5-10 minute long ride.All the rooms were clean and the way they were decorated (especially the living room) created a very cosy feeling to the house. A downside was that not all the facilities were in good condition such as the dish washer and the washing machine, which both didn't drain properly so we couldn't use them for the whole week. And the airco in the small house was not working at all. Indoor facilities need better maintenance.

The last week of April we went to Albufeira with almost our entire family i.e. 10 persons. We had a great time in the villa. Which had more than enough room for everyone. The best perk was the big garden with the swimming pool. We had a lot of fun over there :) And we all love to come back in the future. In my opinions that says more than enough! 2 tips: * Please include (free) wi-fi in the deal (which is a basis necessity nowadays) * Please make all beds for adults...I've been sleeping on a kids bed for a week which wasn't so good for my back. Despite that all great advantages of the villa are the things I am remembering ;-)

In july 2015 i stayed at Villa Tigonema. Me and 13 friends of mine searched for a villa close to the strip of Albufeira, suited for 14 or more persons and with a private pool. We found it in Villa Tigonema. The place is very well kept and looked like a copy of the pictures. I would definitely recommend this villa for other groups who want a carefree holiday for a large group.

My brief for my friends stag weekend was simple; overseas, near a beach and sunny. Villa Tigonema met the criteria and more. Excellent location with more than enough room for 14 of us (although 2 needed to share a double bed - really set for 13). Place was clean and outside was clean. Showing a bit of need for some TLC but didn't detract from a great stay. Pool is big enough and deep which is unusual these days. The agent Dale was always quick to reply to messages prior to our arrival and although rushed off his feet took the time to show us around. Bit of scaremongering regarding the pool at night, but it didn't affect us in any way. I would recommend the transfers to and from the airport. It's at least 45 mins from the airport but the drivers are friendly and prompt. Be advised that the security deposit is paid on arrival (above the cost of the rental) but I got it all back within 3 days of return so very efficient. This is a cracking villa suitable for a large group and a 2 minute walk to bars, restaurants and the sea. Brilliant!!
