Lovely quiet complex. If your looking for a peaceful relaxing time, this place is for you. Be prepared to walk........about 30 mins into town. Suggest a taxi back as all uphill

Nous avons passé 10 jours très agréables dans ce duplex à 5 personnes dont un enfant de 3 ans. Très belle piscine et beaucoup de choses très intéressantes à voir à moins de 1 heure de voiture. L'appartement est agréable à vivre avec cependant quelques petits défauts mineurs. Le voisinages est très sympathique. Voiture obligatoire.

We booked this apartment partly because of the good reviews from this site, and I am sorry to say that we are somewhat disappointed after staying here for 10 nights. Firstly, the free minibus service has been terminated, so you are depended upon either taxi or a rental car, as the apartment is located far away from both the beaches and the village of Akbuk. The last 300 meters of the road are really steep, making it nearly impossible to reach the complex by foot. We ended up using a small fortune (more than 600 TL /£ 180) at the local taxi company, so if I had known about this in advance, I would have chosen a different property to rent for our family holiday. The flat itself has some basic equipment, but from our point of view, it lacked a couple of clotheshorses, an oven, a table for the living room, some chairs, and also some comfortable sofas. Even our 4-year-old twins had problems sitting at the very small sofas, so we ended up spending most of the time outside in the plastic furniture placed at the veranda. On the more positive side, I would like to mention the pool, the maintenance couple living on site, and the spectacular view over the bay of Akbuk. We are in general a family with an optimistic and positive approach towards life, so we decided to make the most of it, even if the apartment didn’t quite meet our expectations. We had a great holiday in Akbuk, but will choose a different apartment next year.

We had a fabulous holiday in this large apartment overlooking the bay of Akbuk. The apartment is well equipped, clean and tidy. It certainly has everything you need while on holiday! The complex staff are very accommodating and friendly, especially Oziem ( the caretakers wife). There is a very good taxi service which runs up and down to the main street, which has many reasonably priced shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a regular bus service which runs to nearby resorts. The weather was great when we were there - perfect for a relaxing holiday, or as a base to visit the sights and resorts nearby.

The apartment had all that my family needed (and there were 6 of us) There was plenty of room. All booking communication was efficient and the owner even organised our transfers for us. People in the apartments were friendly with a good mix of nationalities. The caretaker and his family were very welcoming and sorted any problems out that we had, quickly. The location for us was great, and the views across Akbuk were stunning. We would definatly return to this apartment. Excellent!

This apartment is very big, with great sea views. It's on 2 floors, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. We didn't hire a car, but the complex has a free minibus service where the driver took us into town, and we just told him what time we wanted picked up, or gave him a phone. The people are so friendly, and it's very cheap buying food at the supermarkets compared with Spain or other European countries. There are lots of nice cafe's, bars and restaurants in town, but I would recommend a restaurant called Pasha. The food there is excellent and very reasonable. We have already booked again for 2013.
