Quirky, traditional accommodation
A beautiful, traditional Bruges premises with ample space and very easy access to Bruges centre. With the charm comes some quirkiness - the stairs are not for the faint hearted and the boiler had a personality of its own - but that’s par for the course in an old building. The owner was very responsive (re the boiler for example) and the place is clean and well equipped. We had a lovely trip.

Living like a local
My friend and I LOVED this house. So much character. Fabulous location- 5 min walk to the square . Staying in this house helped make Brugge our favourite place of our month long European holiday . Thanks Noel

Central location, spacious.
Stayed for 3 nights, 2 couples. Lovely old cottage 10 mins walk from the Market Square. Spacious with all that you need for a short stay. Fortunately we are all fit so coped with the difficult spiral staircase! Steps are narrow, there is a handrail but it really needs another rope-rail for extra security. Bedrooms are large with comfy beds, unfortunately the pillows are not of great quality and only one per person (we used some cushions), bedding not great either - quilts are heavy for summer weather. One bedroom has a skylight with a curtain which only keeps out half the light. Sitting room is great, tv has an English Channel. Kitchen spacious enough for 4, we didn’t use the cooker, toaster fine. Bathroom is great apart from the shower- it’s actually a hand-held shower within the bath, no shower curtain so not ideal. Two separate toilets, one upstairs....shame there weren’t many spare toilet rolls provided. No parking available really so we parked at the station and walked. Wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with small children (although a cot and high chair is provided) but floorboards creak, open staircase, lots of ornaments, busy road etc. However, it’s a great location, decent price and overall acceptable.

I received Mr Stephen and his company myself and showed them the house and amenities. Some of the remarks formulated are obviously forgetful. New toiletrolls for the two toilets are provided for each new guests, besides spare rolls are stored in the store room downstairs - 4 rolls for 3nights 4 people is sufficient in 99 cases - we emphasize to our guests to contact us if anything is short or missing since we are located a few blocks away , as we consider it our mission to spoil our guests Matrasses - new since may this year - are "medium soft" as most liked Pillows , we have 8 extra pillows available in bedrooms - in the big linenboxes in the bedroom. We can supply more, big and small, as we have more available. "An English Channel" : we have cable with BBC1, BBC2, etc CNN, FOX, ESP, RAI, TF1, Belgian, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and many UK-US etc total of more than 200 channels Belgium is an open country , we have more international channels than any other country Bathroom : is a European style , t i a bathtub with a shower hose to sit in Parking : as explaned to the guests on arrival , in Bruges center parking in the streets is only for residents, my visitors park their car at the Station Parking, 15 min walk, safe and cheap 2.5eur per 24hrs, specially as in Bruges you do not need your car, all is done by foot! (narrow streets and one-way-streets) besides you get a free busticket wit the parking ticket. Mr Stephen was informed. The staircase : the use was explaned -we understand Mr Stephen's concern as an elderly grandparent The staircase : = the house dates 1673 and stairs are typical spiral - we had many families staying with children over the last 10 years without any problem, Review seems like a list of ? "a cooker which we not used" "european channels we not like" "what if" etc

Delightful
A friend and I had a very pleasant few days in this centrally situated and well appointed house. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. There are in addition two separate lavatories ('toilets') which the Americans but not the British would call 'bathrooms. The large kitchen with its large round table and the little outside area are charming places to relax. Recommended but perhaps the owner might consider preparing a small visitors' folder explaining where the nearest supermarkets are etc.

Great Central Location
This house was great. Fantastic location the Market square was a 15 min walk away. Would not say it was great for young children and people with mobility problems as the stairs are very steep. The host met us on the day and really made us feel welcome showed us around the house and advised us on the great places to visit. Would have given 5 stars except for the fact the description said 3 bathrooms and there was only one with a hand held shower over the bath and separate upstairs toilet and a downstairs toilet. I was specifically looking for 2 separate bathrooms because we were two couples travelling together. Maybe Tripadvisor need to change their bathroom classification?

Lovely home, great location
This traditional Brugge house is beautifully styled in a way that immediately makes you feel comfortable and cozy. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, it is still just a short walk away from the city center and sights. My husband and I rented this house with another couple and it was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent.
We stayed here as two couples. We were met by a very helpful keyholder who gave us a complete guide to the house and Brugge. We dropped our bags off right outside the house but had to park outside the parking resticted area which is really easy and only five minutes walk. The house is well appointed with a good kitchen and lounge, two good sized comfortable bedrooms and an upstairs bathroom, the shower is hand held. There is a wc upstairs and down. The only minor point is that the stairs are steep and could pose a problem if you have mobility problems. The heating tripped out a couple of times but the keyholder had explained how to reset it should this occur and it wasn't a problem. All the bed linen and towels were provided and freshly laundered. There is free wifi and the tele has BBC. The house is about ten minutes ( or less) walk from the main centre of Brugge and its many attractions. I would have no hesitation in staying here again and would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic, central and full of character
This property is all you could ask for in a holiday let in Bruges. 17th Century character with double beds and amenities. Short walk to the centre of town. The owners Noel and Roland are very helpful- Roland meets you there with the key explains the workings of the house and tips of the local area and dinner ect... Waking up to the sound of violin and piano next door is pleasant. One tip would be to park on the road Veldmaarschalk Fochstraat to be sure to not park on a road with restrictions (or having to spend time looking for one). Also, be careful on the stairs as they are narrow (especially relevant to us English who like to over sample the local beer) Highly recommended place to stay.
