About the neighborhood
Bruges has been described as the Venice of the north This medieval city has been perfectly preserved and the network of canals and bridges criss crossed with cobbled streets will transport you back 500 years. A short walk around the magnificent churches and ancient monuments not to mention the labyrinth of small streets will make you understand how the entire city centre was recently declared a world heritage site. You can take a boat tour of the city canals or a horse and carriage ride through the network of picturesque streets. Many people just enjoy getting lost and stumbling upon some hidden gem. Cycling is a very good way to explore the city as well as the surround...
