Es war total erholsam, so nah am Wasser zu sein. Dabei ist es ganz ruhig, nichts schaukelt. Ansonsten war der Service, Sauberkeit und die Ausstattung top.

Surprised to have a nearly well stock kitchen especially for breakfast. The shower is also well stock, better than hotels. Loved feeding the ducks, swan etc. If not for the nearby noisy train running all night on weekends, it would be an excellent place. And if only the owner could recommend the convenient tram number 14 rather than the bus which is rather far away.

Das Hausboot liegt zentral, ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und die Vermieterin ist besorgt, dass es den Gästen gut geht. Die Schlüsselübergabe ist unkomliziert.

Easy bus ride from Amsterdam Centraal. Clean, roomier than we imagined, nice neighborhood across the canal with bakery, produce, food market, restaurants, and open air market. Close to tram that took us directly to Museumplein and Waterpoolein (Amstel Canal). Our Son enjoyed feeding ducks and beautiful Egyptian Geese from the window. Stop by the Dorst (across from windmill) to enjoy a quiet drink. Larger Pub across the street. Also a gastro pub just across the canal - we didn't go there but it was well reviewed on restaurant finder. Great wifi and some english channels on the TV. Nina provided excellent directions and was flexible with our arrival time. It made the experience of arriving in Amsterdam much less stressful. We really appreciate her efforts. Everything we needed to prepare simple meals. Located next to Sprinter tracks, but the trains are surprisingly quiet so the distraction is minimal. We enjoyed our three days in the house boat and would recommend it without hesitation.

I stayed with my teenage daughter, the separate rooms suited us,not in the touristy area, which we enjoyed more,and we experienced a different side of Amsterdam.

Booked this off Trip Advisor, was not disappointed! Getting into contact with the host was very easy, she explained everything very well in English. Was very friendly and gave us our privacy but was next door during the day if we needed her. Gave us suggestions on where to go for food or just things to do around Amsterdam, she had maps and information inside as well! You can connect your Netflix on the TV as well if you wanted to kick back and relax after a long day of walking/biking around. The place itself was so nice, right on the water quite close to the train tracks so if you're a light sleeper not so fantastic for that but it didn't bother me, other than that it's a very quiet area, the beds were very comfy, nice and clean! I would highly recommend it!! If I'm ever headed back I'll try to stay here again 😊

Sehr gut und neu ausgestattetes Appartment auf einem Hausboot. Wir waren mit zwei Teenagern für drei Nächte hier. Die Größe war für vier Personen durchaus ausreichend. Alles war sehr sauber und funktionierte bestens, auch das W-Lan. Das Boot liegt beim Indischen Buurt, ca. 15-20 Gehminuten zum Grachtengürtel. Es gibt aber auch eine Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe, von dort ist man in 10 min am Bahnhof. Das Boot liegt direkt neben einer Eisenbahnbrücke. Uns hat das nicht gestört, weil nachts keine Bahnen fuhren und wir daher trotzdem gut schlafen konnten. Unser Auto hatten wir auf dem Park+Ride-Platz Zeeburg stehen und haben von Do-So insgesamt 3,00 € Parkgebühr bezahlt. Man kann aber auch direkt vor dem Boot parken, dann kostet es 17,50 € pro Tag. Einen Punkt Abzug gebe ich, weil die Informationen im Vorfeld sehr spärlich waren und die Anreise einer "Schnitzeljagd" glich.

We stayed at the Boat for 3 nights in April. The owner was at the boat when we turned up, she was cleaning the place and she quickly laid out the rules. Which was fine. But both myself and my husband were taken aback when she said that if anyone knocks on the door in the morning around 8am don't open it as she is not supposed to be renting out the boat! She mentioned that it was the Amsterdam city who are not happy with tourist numbers and can basically ask people in rented accommodation to leave! Now we weren't sure what to make of it. The Boat itself was very clean and tidy. And the fact that it was in water was a nice change. It is next to a railway line and we heard some trains in the night but it didn't really disturb us. But there was a fair amount of noise from the apartment upstairs. Saying that I am sure it must be far less noisy than staying in the heart of the city as this is a 10 minute bus ride away from Amsterdam Centraal. All in all it was a pleasant stay and thankfully we didn't have any unwelcome visitors knocking at our door either!
