We can assist you in planning your route within the city and also to interesting destinations outside the city. Are you coming to Amsterdam for a special celebration? We can suggest a romantic restaurant or provide a picnic lunch for you to enjoy in one of our city parks. DB's is actually a spacious and cosy one-bedroom apartment. The bedroom comprises a twin/double bed, TV/DvD, and adjoining luxury bathroom. The bedroom leads out onto a sunny balcony and roof terrace where you can enjoy the surrounding area. The bathroom, with a bath, is equipped with linen and towels and a variety of toiletries, and a hair dryer. Free Wifi access and a computer is available for guests. The entire apartment has been renovated and is in excellent condition. In the living room there are two modern stools which foldout into very comfortable beds. These are very suitable for young people and short stays. A baby cot is available for the youngest guest. We also offer guests an equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast. The refrigerator is stocked with all you need to start on your self-service breakfast. Tea/coffee and fruit juices are provided for all guests. Special requirements can also be catered for. Our friendly staff will be happy to offer travel information and assist you in any way to make your stay more enjoyable. Our map of Amsterdam, and our knowledge of the city will point you in the right direction. We will also assist with restaurant reservations. If you are visiting for a special celebration, we can help you make it a festive occasion. We can suggest a romantic restaurant or provide a picnic lunch for you to enjoy in one of our city parks. We can arrange a private tour of the Jordaan and surrounding area and visit some of the hidden gems. In the summer, we can organise a private boat tour through the canals, with drinks and snacks, giving you a view of Amsterdam of the past. And, as an extra treat for our guests, when you are booking, let us know if you would like a bottle of wine or a surprise gift! Check in is at 1400 hours. Early arrivals can sometimes check in immediately if there are no departing guests, or you can leave your luggage and return when the apartment is ready. Check out is at 1100 hours and if your flight or train is late in the day, you can leave your luggage and collect it when you are ready to depart for the station or airport. Late check out can be arranged depending on availability. Close to: Dam Square, Anne Frank House, The Nine Street (Negen Straatjes) Just around the corner: the Monday (textile and bric a brac) and Saturday (food and organic) markets, great cafés and a variety of restaurants, stylish and trendy shops. The Jordaan area offers the perfect mix of tranquil, residential streets and busy restaurants/bars, shops/markets and sights. Two supermarkets are situated just around the corner. There is a wide choice of restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, and bars/cafes to sample the local atmosphere. Enjoy a pub meal in one of our Eetcafés, or book a table at a highly-rated restaurant. Visit the Hofjes, hidden courtyard dwellings in the area.
Getting around
Amsterdam is a walking city. Nothing is far away. The canal hop-on hop-off boat is 5 minutes away, and will take you past most of the major sights. If you do not want to walk, there a two trams to the major museums, both a short ride.
