Minus the church bells ringing directly behind the apt all the time late and early in the am (I think 6am-10pm!) the location can’t be beat. I got used to them for the most part and I felt right at home in Europe ;) It is as centrally located as you can get, yet a bit off the Main Street, which we on the whole really liked.
We used Mtn Exposure rentals as I didn’t know this could be rented without them (maybe it can’t) and they were hands down absolutely fantastic in terms of customer service. There was a once in a lifetime glacier melting flood and the tiny river behind the building flooded and we lost all of our laundry as the basement flooded and we needed to evacuate. Thankfully it didn’t make it to the first floor, but the Mtn Exposure group was right there to help us move to a new location late at night. Don’t let this scare you as it doesn’t happen very often (the last time was 40 years ago apparently).
The kitchen had almost everything we needed including sugar, spices, etc. which we really appreciated. The unit seemed brand new and not a speck of dirt or scuffing on walls etc. The only thing we would have liked was nicer outdoor furniture outside (more comfortable).
I would highly recommend this unit. It is upscale, very comfortable and in the right location.
