Such a lovely stay in Assisi!! Stefano took the time out to come & welcome us to his lovely apartment and gave us some really good tips for exploring Assisi & the surrounding area. Very peaceful spot with a lovely view from the balcony over bush. Could easily walk to a great choice of cafe's & restaurants. Great to have laundry facilities...real plus!! Parking - just up the road. Quite reasonably priced. Don't even attempt to park a car near the apartment. Loved our stay here & will definitely recommend to family & friends.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Rosella & Stefano’s place in May. The apartment was just like in the pictures, 2 bedrooms, a fully functional kitchen, a nice big bathroom. Lots of windows throughout and amazing views from all of them. The place was very clean, with no lack of hot water and all necessary amenities were supplied, there’s even a clothes washer. It’s conveniently located, in a quiet neighborhood, only about a 5 minute walk from the bus stop at Piazza Matteotti and easy walking distance to all the attractions in the area. We met Stefano upon arrival and he very kindly took the time to show us around the apartment and give us some restaurant recommendations. It’s a very lovely place and if I am lucky enough to return to beautiful Assisi sometime soon I would love to get the chance to stay there once more.

This is an apartment full of character, comfortable and with a stupendous view from the balcony. Sitting out there with a cold beer or a glass of wine is balm to the soul. We had travel difficulties due to industrial action and Stefano was most helpful in letting us stay for an extra night to compensate for our delayed arrival. He also directed us to an excellent local restaurant. In fact we discovered three within a few minutes walk, all providing good local food at reasonable prices. The location of the apartment is perfect, away from the crowds of the lower city, and ideally located as a base for exploring the beautiful and historic towns of Umbria. Stefano's apartment is tastefully furnished and it was very clean. It's located in the old medieval city and therefore all the sights are walkable. The view from his balcony is truly picturesque. Assisi is a fantastic place and this is just the apartment to stay in.The two single beds were a bit hard but on the whole we much enjoyed our stay here. We can thoroughly recommend it.

We were delighted to find a spacious, traditional apartment, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. We certainly had the best of both worlds: magnificent views of nearby wooded mountains from the balcony, and yet the city centre, with all amenities - bars, restaurants, gift shops etc - was just a few minutes' walk away. This was our first visit to Assisi, and here we were ideally placed for following in the footsteps of St. Francis and St. Clare

The perfect location on the hillside over looking the mountains. The apartment is central to restaurants, cafes, bars and tourist attractions. Even the main attractions at the other end of the village are only a 15 minute walk away. Peace and tranquility.

My husband and I spent a week in this beautifully situated apartment. Everything was as described. The apartment was quiet. We slept with the windows open and woke to the sounds of birds. View from balcony is breath-taking.

As our first host on our first trip to Italy, Stefano was endlessly patient offering advice on everything from trains to where to buy coffee cream. We were jet-lagged & cranky when we arrived, as stores were closing, but he was kindness itself, leading us through the cobbled alleyways to a store. The view from the balcony took my breath away. The huge fireplace, stone sink and massive wooden table all added to the charm of this centuries old building, which had been his family home for generation. I will remember it for the church bells and birdsong across the wooded valley and hillsides. Loved wandering the cobbled alleys at night, and a daytime visit to Rocca Maggiore. He recommended an FABULOUS restaurant just a few steep streets away --Trattoria da Erminio. Assisi is simply lovely. And I say that as an atheist. Can only imagine how a Roman Catholic must feel visiting this hallowed hillside village. Must say, if I was to choose a saint, it would be Saint Francis. The beauty here needs no gilding. The birdsong and the bells were the only music I needed. I will hear them in my dreams forever.

We stayed here for couple of days. The apartment was wonderful and a view from the balcony absolutely amazing. Hospitality was very warm and got all assistance and information. We couldn't ask more!
