When we drove up to the villa, we couldn't believe how stunning it was. The villa is beautiful and pristine inside and out. It is set near the little hilltop village of Montecastelli Pisano and has wonderful views over the Tuscan hills. The hosts, Gina and Franco were there to meet us and show us around and Gina had left tasty pies and a huge welcome basket. Franco visited every morning to clean the pool etc, but he was very discreet. Gina was very helpful and kind and left us more (very) tasty dishes. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and furnished and extremely well equipped. It is such a peaceful place and very private. We enjoyed the hot tub and bbq area- there are also many places to sit and relax. The pool is not heated, but it didn't matter, some of our group braved the cold water. We were here in April and the weather was changeable, but I can imagine that in the heat of the summer, it would be fantastic to swim every day. It is a good base to enjoy Tuscany and we would definitely want to return.

We received a lovely welcome basket and food in the fridge. This was just what we needed after arriving at around 3am following a delayed landing and delayed embarking of the plan due to thunder & lighting! The villa was spacious, clean and had all the amenities and facilities you needed. The hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble! We frequently had delicious treats left for us and the tiramisu was amazing! We visited Florence which is such a beautiful city and also Pisa on our way back to the airport. But for most of the say we enjoyed the relaxing surroundings of the villa, the pool and the hot tub! After a less that relaxing year of COVID measures this holiday was just what we needed and was a perfect place to be with the family. The only suggestions we would add would be for the BBQ and outside eating space to be closer together. Also for the lounge area to have a TV in it and a couple more comfy chairs. We had a fabulous holiday and we will definitely return! A very big THANK YOU to the hosts for allowing us to have such a wonderful relaxing time.

We had a fantastic Christmas week in Tuscany staying at this wonderful villa which was a home from home. It was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. Our lovely hosts, Gina and Franco, greeted us on our arrival to show us around and they provided a very generous welcome pack of provisions to set us up. Gina also provided us with some homemade treats during the week which we very much enjoyed. Despite Franco arriving at the Villa at least twice a day to keep the heating going, we hardly knew he was there. Gina and Franco were always on hand via WhatsApp to answer questions or provide advice should we need it. The setting of the villa is absolutely stunning and we were blessed with blue skies and sunshine every day and even sat outside on a couple of occasions. It provided a great base for visiting the places of interest in Tuscany, such as Florence, Siena, Pisa as well as vineyards. I would love to return for another stay and highly recommend it.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura per capodanno 2020. Al nostro arrivo i proprietari Gina e Franco ci hanno accolto e dato informazioni sul casale, sulle varie attività e luoghi da visitare. Abbiamo trovato all'interno un cesto di benvenuto e delle pietanze cucinate dalla sig.ra Gina. Ogni mattina inoltre avevano un pensiero per noi. Il casale è molto pulito, caldo, spazioso con tre camere matrimoniali, dotato di ogni confort, è presente la lavastoviglie e la lavatrice. Attrezzata per i bambini. Il panorama è molto suggestivo. Ci siamo trovati molto bene,il posto è tranquillo e si raggiunge facilmente a piedi ( circa 5 minuti) il centro del paese. Sicuramente lo consigliamo e cercheremo anche noi di farvi ritorno. Grazie di tutto!!

We have just returned from a wonderful Christmas break in this beautiful setting where we also enjoyed blue skies and sunshine every day. Le Capanne is a comfortable and cosy villa set within the most spectacular scenery. We were greeted by our hosts Gina and Franco who had left us a generous welcome pack which was perfect to get us started before we went shopping for our provisions. Gina and Franco were the perfect hosts being available but unobtrusive. Franco visited more than once a day to keep the heating fired up but we hardly knew he was there. Gina produced some delicious homemade delights for us to enjoy. All in all, we would highly recommend a stay at Le Capanne and it provides a good base for visiting other places such as Pisa, Florence and Siena. We would love to return another time.

Our stay at Le Capanne way exceeded our expectations. The villa was perfect, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Upon arrival our hosts met us with a very warm welcome. There was the biggest welcome basket we’ve ever seen, enough to feed us for at least 3 days! Gina had also filled the fridge. Each morning Gina and Franco came to clean the pool but were totally unintrusive. About every other day a gift of cake or fruit was left outside for us. Cannot praise our hosts or villa enough. Location is good for visits to Siena, Lucca, Florence etc. We had a day out in Chianti which was lovely. Gina and Franco also gave us advise on places to visit. Alla prossima 🤩😍

Where do i start to review this amazing villa?! I spent a long time choosing a villa and am so glad i picked this one! I wanted stunning views, peace and quiet but crucially pet free (due to my allergies), my husband requested to be near a small village for a restaurant and my 3 girls wanted a lovely big pool and WiFi! Am happy to say that everyone got their wishes! We stayed for 3 weeks here and the villa is beautiful with interesting history behind it. It has a modern but rustic Tuscan style which we loved. It was spotlessly clean and they had stocked the fridge up for us arriving as well as leaving a large welcome basket with goodies as well. Gina and Franco were unobtrusive, attending daily to the pool and jacuzzi and the delicious homemade food treats left at the door were just lovely. They also handed in a wireless speaker for our girls to enjoy their tunes by the pool as well. They are such a lovely, welcoming couple and you can see the time and love that the owners have poured into rennovating and looking after their villa. It is a very peaceful relaxing place to stay and we were all sad to leave! The location is great to see a lot of the major towns and is in walking distance to the village where we enjoyed great food with friendly service. Do not hesitate to book this villa, you will not be disappointed and we can't wait to come back another time! We love staying at Villa le Capanne and can't wait until we can book another trip. Gina and Franco are the best hosts and we can't say enough about their attention to detail and their generous nature. What a peaceful place to come back to after a day or tourning the area. We also loved just spending time at the Villa and not venturing our. Very relaxing. Exactly what a vacation should be! Loved our visit and are really looking forward to our next trip. This was our third visit to Le Capanne, and it just keeps getting better and better! Gina and Franco are literally the BEST hosts we’ve ever experienced in our travels, and they’ve done a great job continuing to update the Villa. This year we were able to use the new bedroom, leaving the sitting area open for all to enjoy. The time of year didn’t all W us to use the pool, but our hosts were there EVERY morning to make sure it was spotless and clean. We DID use the jacuzzi many times, and loved it. We grilled sausages, pork, and burgers on the outdoor grill, and the kitchen is always fully stocked on arrival. Gina baked a cake for my birthday this year ( a GREAT surprise!) and always brings fun and delicious treats during the stay. The Villa is located in a great area for Tuscan exploration, and is extremely private. We can’t WAIT to return! Dave
