Nous avons passé 15 jours formidable. L appartement plein pieds bien conçu. Comme à la maison il ne manque rien.environnement très très calme .le jardinier qui arrose les fleurs tous les 2 jours avec qui nous discutions. La piscine bien entretenue. Rien à dire d autre que nous étions au paradis. La seule chose moins cool 3kms de cailloux pour arriver à la résidence.le paradis se mérite....😚 Et ne pas oublié de prendre votre crème apaisante contre les moustiques. Vous avez à 10kms un super petit village très convivial restos, un bon boulanger , un bon boucher et sur la place un café ou in fait bon rester. Et de très bons concert. De plus san gimignano plus grand à 18kms fort beau. Je recommande sans modération ce paradis. Spécialités culinaires la truffe blanche le sanglier et le lapin.

Apartment was clean well equipped and in a good location for Volterra and San Gim. We also used the train for Florence and Sienna which was really good value. Access track to apartment a little long and no welcome pack. As we arrived Sunday pm there were no shops open! However we contacted Steph who directed us to a supermarket about 30 mins away!

Podere collinella est magnifique, l'appartement très soigné et propre, l'environnement est magique, le calme absolu. Un mot: sérénité. La piscine est très agréable. Florence est à 3/4h de train, facile d'accès, San Gimignano, Volterra... Un magnifique aperçu de la Toscane. Nous avons adoré...

Just returned from a week in this beautiful apartment. I found the views breathtaking and the pool so relaxing. The apartment is well equipped and always has a cool breeze running throughout. One tip - you need a hire car but make sure it's bigger than a fiat 500 or similar as the road leading to the apartment can prove tricky in places but well worth it on arrival at the group of apartments...Bellissima! Myself and my now fiancée have just come back from an incredible 10 days at this wonderful villa. Thanks to the owner's detailed welcome pack before our arrival, we had no trouble finding this tucked away gem! We easily managed the farm track in a fiat 500 and on some occasions saw deer and foxes on our journey, which made it all the more exciting. The villa itself has everything you need and the BBQ's under the Tuscan sunsets are what really made our stay! My now fiancée also proposed on one of these delightful evenings, which has made this holiday all the more unforgettable. Thanks to the owner's instructions and packs of maps and guides, we found the villa to be the perfect base for exploring Tuscany. Sienna, Florence and San Gimignano are all within easy distance. This was brilliant for the days where the weather was not so good and we couldn't spend the day around the poolside or in the villas pretty gardens, surrounded by darting swallows and the buzz of the bees in the lavender. Although there was no wifi at the property, the village of Montaione was close by for free wifi, but we found it all the more relaxing not having it. Overall this was a perfect holiday and hope to be back in the coming years!

My wife and I stayed for two weeks and loved the quiet atmosphere, beautiful views and well maintained gardens around the estate. The accommodation was clean and had everything we required. It was especially nice to have places front and back to sit, so we could enjoy both the morning and evening sun. Indeed, watching the sunsets with a glass in hand was something we looked forward to. As a swimmer, my wife enjoyed a dip in the pool as a start to most days. San Gimignano and Volterra are wonderful, with great restaurants off the tourist trail. The only reason I have not awarded five stars is not the accommodation itself but the track getting to and from it. This is a couple of miles long and there is a hill going up from the accommodation to the main road. The track surface is heavily rutted and has been covered with loose chippings. We had hired a small two wheel drive Fiat 500 and it had trouble getting up the incline.Traction was difficult. So much so that we took to parking it at the top of the hill and walking down, which took ten minutes. Our neighbours, who had the same car, did likewise. I would recommend the accommodation, but strongly advise a 4x4 as a means of transport.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful place for an extended week. The location is picturesque, the house is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a family vacation. The kids enjoyed the pool the most:) It's a great place, if you want to have a peaceful holiday. There are also historic towns nearby if you wish to do sightseeing.

Having been to Tuscany once and before I was very excited to return as we had been longing to do so since our last time in 2008. This property is part of a group of 13 apartments spread over 3 stunning authentic Tuscan farm houses. We had apartment 3. All the apartments are different shapes and sizes. The property is located half way between San Gimignano and Voltera with both Pisa and Florence 1 hour away. The property is about 3km off the main road down a white road which is certainly in bad condition in places so i would advise a larger engined car or 4x4 but having said that I drove it twice a day in my rented Fiat 500 and apart from bouncing around I managed just fine. Once you come to the top of the hill at Poderre torrichi (another property on the white road) you see Collinella in the distance and you know you have made the right choice. The scenery is like nothing I hae ever seen before. it is a true tuscan landscape. The apartment itself is ground floor and comprises of a kitchen/living room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything you need is here including a full kitchen and a washing machine. The living room has outside areas off both sides so you can have the sun in private both morning and evening and also watch the sun go down. We loved to BBQ and eat outside at the excellent outdoor furniture. The place is incredibly peacefull. the only thing you can hear are cow bells from the surrounding fields. There is a communal pool for all apartments but in the week we were there there was never anymore than 7-8 people at the pool and mostly just ourselves. Each apartmet has their own numbered sun loungers so no confusion. We met some of the owners of the other apartments and they were all lovely and very welcoming. Can I also say that all our dealings and correspondence with the owner of apt 3 was very informative and efficient. There are lots of local restaurants within a 10 minute drive and we did try one of these for takeaway pizza. We also ate out in San Gimignano which was excellent. It and Volterra are truely beautiful places. All in all I can't say one bad thing about this place. My only regret is I feel we spent too much time driving to other towns to sight see instead of just wandering the local area or siting at the pool with a beer or Chianti!
