Die geräumige und schöne Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Für 4 Personen sicher optimal, für mehr schwierig. Sitzgelegenheit im Wohnraum lediglich eine größere Couch. Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend mit gesichertem Parkplatz ( Schranke). Zu Fuß braucht man ca. 30 Min zum Zentrum von Lucca. Zwei Supermärkte sind in nächster Umgebung.

Hermoso y amplio departamento!
El departamento era hermosÃsimo. Muy grande y cómodo. Los anfitriones fueron muy serviciales y amables. Incluso nos dejaron algunos productos comestibles que nos salvaron a la hora de llegada. Hay aparcamiento gratuito y está ubicado en una zona tranquila y poblada. Sin dudar volveremos a este bellÃsimo lugar si regresamos a Lucca. Muy recomendable!!!

Highly recommend!
The apartment is fully equipped, clean, light and modern and has every convenience for a very enjoyable stay. One feels like a local, as the area is outside the walls.
Ester ranks among the top as a host; she goes the extra step to insure her guests are comfortable. She is friendly and helpful and her family is delightful.
The apartment is walking distance from the walls, about 20 minutes. There is a bar nearby for morning coffee and pastry and we noted several pizzerias, although we didn't eat at any. We chose to drive our rental car and park against the walls in one of the pay parking areas and save our steps for inside the wall. Free parking is possible along the street, but we found the convenience of being close to a gate was worth the 3-6 euros we payed each day. Driving tip: try not to be in traffic around 12:30-1:30 and again at 4:30-6:00. Pretty congested.

We stayed with our daughter and her husband in Ester's apartment which was even better than described. Communication with Ester before, during and after our stay was quick, easy, accurate and exactly what we needed. She and her family were so welcoming and helpful, taking time and effort to make sure that we got the best out of our holiday. The apartment itself is very comfortable (great beds and seating), nicely appointed (lovely to sit in the main room or on the balcony) and very well serviced with all necessary equipment (cooking, eating, lighting, bathing etc.). The location is a very safe, attractive residential area, with ample private parking near to a very good Italian supermarket (Esselunga), bar and pizzeria. A short (10 minute) walk brings you to the town walls and the magic of Lucca - so much interesting history and patrimony within the walls which surround the old town and provide a shaded, beautiful circular walk - or bike ride! Ester very kindly lent us bikes which greatly added to our enjoyment. The evening promenade here is brilliant, and so enjoyable to sit and people watch with a glass of something or other. There are so many places of interest and events within the town (we went to 2 excellent - and free - evening concerts in the Botanical Gardens and the main piazza) that we could have spent much more than the whole week just in Lucca. However, Lucca is also the perfect place to explore Tuscany and public transport is both good and economical. Apart from well known centres such as Pisa, Florence, Sienna etc., there are many wonderful houses and gardens close at hand - we spent one whole day walking and picnicking in the nearby Villa Reale, highly recommended. Thank you Ester for making our vacation so memorable.

Sehr schön, sauber - perfekt!
Die Wohnung war ein Traum! Sehr ordentlich, mit Liebe eingerichtet und sie ist die perfekte Basis für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in der Toskana.
Das Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Sie versorgte uns mit Insider Tipps über die schöne Stadt Lucca und der Umgebung. Im Moment des Ankommes fühlten wir uns gleich willkommen und zuhause.

Enjoyable stay
We are just back from a week holiday in sunny Lucca. Ester our hosts was very welcoming and helpful. Apartment as described was spacious and clean, 10 min walk from the Lucca walls. We had a fab time here, thank you Ester

Perfect apartment, ideal location
Had a lovely week in Lucca, the apartment was everything we were looking for and Esther was a great host. The apartment was in a great location, less than 5 minutes by bike and set in a lovely area itself. Everything you need is close by with the local supermarket just around the corner. This was our second stay in Lucca and will definitely be returning.
