Notre séjour dans cet appartement a été gâché par le bruit infernal des deux bars situés sur la place STROZZI, toutes les nuits jusqu'à trois heures de matin. Les propriétaires nous ont remis avec les clés des bouchons d'oreilles qui se sont révélés inefficaces du fait de la résonnance du lieu. Nous avions déjà écrit un avis sur "Booking" ,avec un commentaire négatif sur le bruit, et un commentaire positif sur l'hôtesse d'accueil. Cet avis a été tronqué du commentaire négatif à notre insu, il ne reste que le commentaire positif. En conclusion, nous ne recommandons pas cet hébergement et déplorons le manque de déontologie du propriétaire.

I really hate writing bad reviews. It means somewhere something has gone pear shaped. Unfortunately with this very dishonest host it was downhill from the start and and it's a shame i couldn't give zero stars. Renato cancelled our agreed check in time less than 24 hours before we arrived. Offered compensation and moths later never paid, I gave up chasing him. We were forced to wait in a café with our luggage for three hours. When I picked up the key the cleaners had just started and the place was a bomb site, stank of cigarette smoke and every room trashed. Luxury is a dishonest description. Everything about this apartment is tacky and cheap, the furniture, the uncomfortable beds and cheap sofas, the budget kitchen which lacks an oven or microwave, the lack of a decent saucepan or cooking utensils. Even the external door keys are cheap and take ages of jiggling to get them to turn. The worst aspect is the noise, every sound from the piazza reverberates through the apartment. If you are not kept awake by the horrible beds you will soon be woken by people just walking through the piazza late at night or the street cleaners before sunrise. The back room is no respite with the same cheap beds and neighbour shouting at each other at all hours. Add to that the stale smell of cigarette smoke coming out of the soft furniture, seriously, look elsewhere.

My brother, husband and I spent five nights in this beautiful apartment, and it could not have been better. The apartment has been modernized without losing the historic value of this beautiful building. I called on RE a couple times and everything was taken care of immediately! Tuscan wine and delicious food on every corner. The train/bus station was easy walking even with suitcases. What's not to love?!

This apartment is large (it's exactly as pictured on TripAdvisor) and in the perfect location for exploring Florence. It's right next to the Strozzi Palace and very close to Piazza della Repubblica. When we arrived, we couldn't find the blankets (hint: they are stored under the beds) and there was only one key for the four of us (the previous renter lost a set of keys). I texted Re in the morning, and within an hour they had a second key made and delivered it to the apartment along with additional linens. The only minor flaw is that the furniture is fairly basic.

This was a lovely apartment in the middle of Florence - We were very happy with our stay here.. The folks who managed the apartment were very nice and easy to contact They were flexible and able to work with us – meeting us at the apartment when we got into Florence We found the apartment very spacious – There is not a dryer but a washer that we used… There is not a oven but other nice amenities to help us to prepare breakfast etc.. Large rooms – Not noisy –Nice bathrooms – My son thought the kitchen was the “cutest” of all the apartments we stayed in in Italy- with a big marble sink and nice kitchen tiles etc.. Nothing negative to say (front door lock was tricky ) but really beside that only good thoughts

The host at this apartment was extremely helpful with our group during our stay. Re was very flexible with check-in and check-out procedures. We didn't feel pressured to leave at once. The apartment itself was very clean and it accommodated us very nicely. I highly recommend this place!

My sister and I, along with our 78yo father, enjoyed a week in this great apartment. It is central to all the sights in Florence, making it easy to walk everywhere. We had everything we needed, hairdryer, coffee maker and coffee pods, washing machine, etc. this was one of the few apartments we could find with an elevator in the building, making it easy to get up and down. Owner/manager was very helpful giving me directions and options for groceries, restaurants, and even washing machine directions by text. I would recommend this apartment to couples, families or groups, visiting the area.

The apartment has been carefully restored and the amenities are modern and functional, with details from a 5star hotel (soap, shampoo, fresh fruit, chocolates, high quality bed linen, etc). It is The Best location in Florence with the unique advantage that although you are in the centre, you do not hear any noise at night. Renato could not be more helpful; he basically reviewed what we had planned to explore, tweaked the itinerary to maximise the experience and provided lots of history. He called to confirm reservations, gave directions etc. and directed us on the phone-- with infinite patience--to the parking two blocks away from his apartment. Summer in Florence can be very hot, but each room has its own air conditioning. I am looking forward to return with my family during the Christmas holidays!

This fabulous apartment is located within walking distance to Duomo, Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio. Two great bedrooms and bathrooms with a kitchen having everything you need to whip up a meal. Three clubs located in Piazza Stozzi are great for a young couple but could be a bit noisy in the front bedroom late at night. Renato, the owner/manager was attentive and responsive, giving us local restaurant recommendations as well as helping us obtain a cab. Thank Renato!
