This apartment is in a fabulous location, about 100metres from Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. Via Dei Neri is a busy side pedestrianised street with great eateries (including the incomparable sandwich bar All’Antico Vinaio). The apartment is small but has all you would need. The greatest addition is all the private outside space, a private terrace surrounds the apartment and is perfect for sitting out in the evenings (one word of warning : bring citronella or mosquito spray as you may get eaten alive without it). 2 NOTES: (1) there is only air conditioning in the living area NOT in the bedroom, so you have to really chill the living area to make the bedroom anyway cool (2) a VERY important note...there is no lift to this rooftop apartment and there are 94 steps to the top (yes we counted), it’s not a problem, but one that less fit/able visitors should be aware of, also it’s a mighty climb with suitcases !

A deux pas du Palazzio Vecchio et de la Galerie des Uffizi, dabs le centre historique de Florence, cet appartement tout en terrasse est charmant. Nous avons séjourné la à 4 personnes (avec deux adolescentes). Les terrasses sont agréables (si on a le temps de les utiliser...), mais surtout sa situation est merveilleuse à pied de la plupart des grands monuments (et des glaces...). La rue est remplie d'échoppes de street et les pâtisseries et autres smoothies ne sont pas loin pour parfaire son petit déjeuner. une adresse à bien retenir.

Brilliant location apartment had everything you needed for your stay. Balconies were brilliant. The chairs/sunloungers outside were very uncomfortable if you wanted to sunbathe and we only had 1 bath towel each to last us 10 days but apart from those minor things everything else was perfect. Just a note re the local supermarket down the road called Conad the staff in there were the rudist people i had ever met smaller shops on the way there were much better.

This flat is in a brilliant location to explore the centre of Florence. It's very easy to get to most of the tourist sights from here and on foot too as everything is very central. It's lovely to be on the top floor and looking over rooftops with the outdoor living areas getting good use in the excellent weather we had during our week in Florence. The indoor space is tiny and compact but sufficient for us as we didn't spend long indoors, just to sleep and have a break before we left to get out into this amazing city again. We didn't prepare food in the flat as we ate out except for breakfast but I did give all the crockery and cutlery a good hot wash before using- there was some dried food on some.You need to supply your own cleaning materials too- dishcloths, kitchen towel,cleaning liquids and toilet roll. There was some toilet roll when we moved in but needed to top up through the week.The flat itself was clean enough and bed sheets and towels (which need to last the week) were supplied and clean.I would have liked to have given the floors a Hoover through the week but no Hoover available. The top bedspread had some stains as did the settee covers, which could easily be remedied with a machine wash. The shower/toilet room is tiny but clean and we managed with it.However, the one big issue with this apartment is the stairs up to it. Luggage is a nightmare to haul up and down and the stairs are bare stone and narrow so it's noisy to bump cases on wheels.It's a bit frightening to take heavy cases down stairs, especially the final flight which is longer and steeper than the others. One other issue is the bed, which is a box bed and has steps to get up to it on one side.It's comfy but it is high and ,if you're a shorter person like myself, it is hard to climb up on to.This flat is in a great location and has a lovely local vibe to it but if you have any accessibility difficulties or are not very fit, then you should give it a miss.

Good location, Ok place but shower curtain full of mold, tea pot full of white sediment, couldn't get stove to work, could have been a little cleaner. no Microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker or laundry machines. (would be nice) Can't drive to the place because of traffic limitations.

The apartment was exactly what we needed. The views from the rooftop terrace were amazing and the private balcony was perfect for bringing food and wine back from the local market and relaxing for the night. Also, you have to go to All'Antico Vinaio and grab a sandwich. The lines move fast so don't get discouraged. Overall, great place to stay for the week! Cheers,

We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable Apartment which lives up to the web site photos and previous reviews. As other people have mentioned the air con was most welcome, indeed, necessary. Unfortunately for us the weather was so good i.e.very hot that we had little opportunity to benefit from the external terraces which nevertheless were lovely. Via dei Neri is a very lively street full of good small independent shops so you don't have to queue for the much reviewed All' Antico Vinaio. Ditta Artigianiale provided superb coffee and pastries, San Michele a Torri was good for pasta freshly made on the premises and organic bread. We bought cheese etc from La Bottega at No 44 and charcuterie from the shop next door to the Apartment. Gelati at Gelateria dei Neri was superb. Don't worry about the stairs they help to use up all the extra calories.

This apartment is perfectly located to get to museums and local attractions; despite the four flights of stairs! Additionally the street on which it's located has some of the best places to eat as well! The view from the terrace is unbeatable and you can view many of the places visited from it such as the Pitti Palace and on a clear night you can also see the Statue of David! Wonderful apartment!

Lovely apartment ,patio areas where very spacious and relaxing.Centre of Florence is within a few minutes walk and the air conditioning became essential due to a heat wave,found this to be very efficient and never disappointed.My only concern was the internet access which we found to non existent .
