What an amazing apartment! The location is right in Piazza del Duomo. Outside your windows is the living art of Florence. We loved the atmospheric and grand building that houses the apartment. Our children enjoyed the comfortable surroundings too- dont be put off by the steps as the view is amazing. The interior is very comfortable and clean. We all slept well in the very comfortable beds too. We were all sad to leave and hope to return later this year. Thank you Luca for welcoming us to your beautiful apartment and the amazing city.

Firstly, Florence is a stunner. The Flora is a great apartment with beautiful views from the front bedroom of the Duomo. Luca is a great host and gives a comprehensive run through of the workings of the apartment. I loved staying there and the stairs were less than I’d thought but would not suit elderly or anyone with a baby as there is no lift. We all loved our stay and would recommend this.

This apartment was the perfect home base for our trip to Florence. The owner was generous with advice and assistance and as well has seen that the apartment is well provided with anything you might need, even umbrellas! How thoughtful! The place is spotless, the view breathtaking, well worth climbing all those stairs. Thank you Luca--we would not hesitate to book again!

Hard to know where to start. Maybe with answers to questions we may have had. Clean, modern, fully equipped, wonderful and funny and helpful host. Beds are very, very excellent. Forget TV...this is Italy. Perfect Wifi, if you must. I won't even comment on the location. Except to say there's none better in the city. The street below us a realist's Disneyland. Stroll at night in ultimate safety and listen to the city sounds. Ahhhhh, we're so happy to be coming back in a couple of weeks. Want to talk about the stairs? Sure....87 steps. Luca and friend meet you to carry the luggage up upon your arrival. If you are infermed or simply consider the steps dudgery? Don't do it. I'm old and fat and slowly walk the steps thinking about who has walked them before...lovely.

This flat is gorgeous. Literally you can lay in bed and the Duomo is in your window and skylight. The beds and linens are excellent. Fully stocked with everything you need. Ever wonder what is behind those 30 foot ancient doors?? Now you can not only know but stay there. The property has been in Luca's family for 200 years. Luca is very charming and helpful. The only down sides are 1. The noise outside on the weekend can be loud, but we enjoyed laying in bed listening to the street musicians and when we were ready to sleep we just shut the multiple pane windows and you could barely hear anything at all. 2. There are a total of 90 stairs to get to the flat. Did not bother us at all as the views were totally worth it, but if you have a bad hip or knee you it might not work for you. EVERYTHING is so close. The taxi stand is behind the Duomo literally steps from the door. We couldn't recommend more highly. The value for the dollar is fantastic.
