La Terrazza sulla Valle is the perfect apartment for a stay in beautiful Cortona. Located just outside the wall of the town, it is quiet and just a short walk to the center plaza. The apartment has been beautifully restored. It is spacious, immaculate, and had everything we needed during our three day stay. We loved the beautiful porch with its sweeping views of the valley below. Vanna, our host, was welcoming and very helpful. The highlight of our stay was the cooking lesson and dinner Vanna prepared for us. I would recommend Cortona and this rental to anyone thinking of exploring this area of Tuscany.

Our stay was a truly wonderful experience
Perched just outside the town wall of Cortona, La Terrazza was the perfect location for us. We were only 100 meters from the main bus stop at Piazza Mercato. A 10 minute ride on the bus connected us with the town of Camucia and its train station, making a car unnecessary for most of our visit. Although it is a steep climb up Via Guelfa to the town's main square and shopping, we enjoyed the daily exercise.
The two bedroom La Terrazza apartment was well equipped, spotlessly clean and it had plenty of space for the two of us, as well as the three sets of visitors who stayed with us during our two month residence there. The view from La Terrazza of the valley below is spectacular.
However, the highlight of our visit was getting know our hostess, Vanna (the owner's mother and caretaker). Vanna was an absolute delight. We and guests took her cooking class and she made sure we didn't want for anything. Towards the end of our stay she even took us sightseeing and shopping. A truly wonderful person, Vanna will alway occupy a special place in our hearts.
We highly recommend La Terrazza. We know that someday we will return there.

Beautiful Cortona apartment with a beautiful private terrace and view!
We loved our time in this Cortona apartment. Everything was new and so well planned. We had 2 full bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen and the terrace was such a treat. The owners are very personable and always accessible. We had a private cooking class in their kitchen and then shared the meal family style. So fun and delicious! We hope to return some day. We loved it!
