Getting around
exploring The Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore which is a large Benedictine monastery in the region of Tuscany, visiting the winery, the old pharmacy and tasting wine and olive oil. Admiring the 32 frescos in the internal gardens. Continue to Siena to visit the cathedral one of the world’s most famous gothic churches with a guide for 2-3 hours, exploring the wine road to Avignonesi for wine tasting and snacks, arrival to Montepulciano at noon, visit the old city and lunch included, coffee with pastry at the famous Caffe Poliziano. Continue to Pienza to visit the town and farm where they manufacture pecorino cheese.

By Car: traveling by car from the North, or South take the A1 Firenze – Roma highway (autostrada), exit at Valdichiana.(About 170 km from Rome and 80 km from Firenze) Follow the blue signs for Perugia and take the fastway (superstrada) exit at Cortona (do not exit at first sign to Cortona-Foiano) – follow directions to Cortona for 3 km till you see the first round about, take the first exit. Continue on this road, After 2 km you will see a new round about, take the second exit to Mucchia, follow this road for 0.3 km. till you will get to the villa on your right hand side, (the second building). By Train: the nearest station is Camucia o Terontola di Cortona; From the station you reach us by local taxi which will take you to us in few minute
