Interaction with guests
I check them in. Not always out, but I always say goodbye. I usually try and give information on the city using a map when I check them in and if there was not enough time always try and meet them aggain. They know were i leave inside the same palazzo and can come and look for me or phone or text or whats app me whenever they need me. If I don't hear from them I usually at least send a text to see if they are happy and ask if they are free to meet me and ask for extra info

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Location couldn't be better. Easy walking distance to supermarket, shops, restaurants and buzzing friendly nightlife. Luna, the host, went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and fun. The building is delightful blend of 16th to 18th Century architecture, with modern conveniences, ample furnishings, and secure behind solid courtyard doors. It was a bit hot without air-conditioning, but portable...

We loved our short experience of gracious living in this very elegant flat. It has a fab little balcony overlooking a quiet street and a beautiful courtyard and spectacular entrance. The bedrooms and furniture are just right. The kitchen has everything you need for an opportunity to cook some of the great local food - there is a supermarket about...

About the neighborhood
The house is in one of the ancient quarters within the historic centre Between Piazza Marina and Piazza San Francesco, near the Cala (the old port), and the ancient market of the Vucciria, not far at all from the Station and the Bothanical Gardens. The area is very lively both during the day and at night. However, inside the palazzo one enters another world, a world of peace where the time seems to have stopped. Not only over twenty major monuments and sites, but also a supermarket, the ancient market, an organic-deli mini market, a couple of corner shops, a hairdresser, different typical-Sicilian-craft shops, different cafes, restaurants and night bars are at a few minutes distance (we talk 2 minutes, if you walk further there will be more... and we are looking forward to on our favourite... more
