This property is ideally located for seeing the city and traveling by train to other nearby sites. We quickly became regulars at two nearby restaurants which were highly recommended by our Milan native friends. The dishes were Venezian and unique for an American traveler, even one familiar with Italy. The street was quiet once the restaurant across the street closed for the evening and the view of the street from the apartment put us in the scene. The issue I have is the condition of the floor. It is terrazzo and is deteriorated in several areas that you must step on. There are throw rugs covering most serious areas and I put a bathroom rug beside the bed to cover a spot there that would hurt bare feet. None the less, I would easily stay here again and recommend it with the warning.
Additionally, it is a bit of a challenge to find the correct apartment in the building but that is part of European travel.
