The apartment is in a great location near Piazza San Marco, but tucked away in a corner that's very quiet. One drawback to that is that the apartment doesn't get much light, a drawback that could have been lessened for example if all the lightbulbs worked in the bathroom. The apartment was immaculately clean, but some of the linens were a little worse for wear. The beds were comfortable but the pillows could be fuller. Overall, I'd give it a 3-1/2.

Five adults stayed in this apartment and we found it comfortable and convenient. It has two bathrooms and three bedrooms so there was room for all of us. It is up about 30 steps so you have to be mobile to use it. We made breakfast each day and one night cooked a meal in the kitchen. The owners had left us two packets of pastries and a carton of milk to welcome us and were helpful throughout the booking process. It is close to the Duomo so easy to access all of Venice. We were met at an obvious spot in the square when we arrived and led to our apartment. When the power went out we rang the owner and he came and promptly fixed it.

An exceptional location, close to everything... clean and very pleasant, much better than it appears in the photos... Roberto was friendly and helpful... recommended

Thanks to Roberto & Laura for great accommodation in Venice. Less than 5 mins to Piazza San Marco and less than 10 mins to Rialto Bridge. Could not have asked for a better location.

Me and five of my friends stayed at this beautiful apartment smack in the middle of Venice. It’s located between St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto bridge. We could not have asked for anything else! The apartment was spacious enough to fit all six of us comfortably. There are three bedrooms, one with two single beds, the second one with one double bed and the third one with one double bed and one single bed. The couch was the highlight though. It’s big enough to fit a person in there and it’s so comfortable that you feel it’s hugging you and doesn’t want to let you go. ;) The flat also boasts two fully working bathrooms, each one fitted with a shower. So there was no problem for six girls to get ready in the morning.Roberto was lovely! He met us late at night at St. Mark’s Square and took us to the apartment that is only 3 minutes away from there. He took his time to explain us everything and also gave us tips of where to have dinner (Osteria No 1, only 2 min away from flat).

Three of us (my husband, myself and an old friend) enjoyed three nights at this spacious and comfortable apartment with three bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen and a view over a canal in a small neighborhood behind San Marco. It is close to vaperetto stops that access the Venice Biennale sites.There are many small restaurants in the area. Our stay was very pleasant

We have just spent 3 nights here (4 adults) at Roberto's apartment. A great place to stay, clean, tidy, excellent location! The kitchen is great to use, the rooms cool in the summer, nice touch to be able to look off the balcony at the gondolas floating past. A nice peaceful location with everything you'll need for your stay in Venice. Thanks Roberto, we really loved staying at your apartment.

Roberto met us under the clock tower. Allowed an early check in, a real help after a red-eye flight from the states. A 3 minute walk to the apartment. Set on a quite side street, but right off the main walking lane. Location is ideal on a short stay. Shows up on Google maps. Very quiet at night. Well stocked kitchen. WiFi worked well. Plenty of room for a family of 6. Firm mattressses. Everything worked. Not air conditioned, and open windows result in mosquito bites, so bring your bug repellant. Would stay in again.

The house is great but host is worst. I booked property for three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bed room and bathroom was locked and was not made available to us. Housetrip should take up this seriously with the host. I admit we were late in reaching the house than communicated earlier but I contnuously communicated our probable time of arrival.We reached the place of meeting the host at 1930 hrs. the host Roberto instead of welcoming us started asking continuously 50 Euro for late check in(though the late check in was after 2000 hrs!!!!) The other negative part is check out time( 10 AM) is very early. Though the property is excellent and in great location, housetrip should black list or remove it from its property listing because of worst attitude of the host. I would never recommend this propety to anybody.
