My family and I love our 'little dollhouse' and we usually live here during our sojourns in Venice, but we are also happy to rent it to visitors who wish to discover the soul of our city. It’s ideal for a couple.
The luxury apartment is 65 m² (700 ft²), serene and restful. It’s flooded with sunlight and has very high ceilings throughout. It combines the comfort of a family home with the warmth of a romantic escape and has been freshly renovated with love.

BUILDING
Two flights of original marble stairs will take you up to the apartment, which occupies the whole of the second and top floor of a 19th-century building.
Thanks to a careful restoration, completed in December 2015, Ca' Risorta is not affected by rising damp or high tide, which are instead very common in town.
LIVING AREA
The spacious living room is bright and airy, with comfy two-seat leather sofa, handcrafted in Italy by Natuzzi, feather cushions and a pleasant mix of modern and antique pieces from all over the world, which reflects our passion for traveling and collecting memories. You'll love relaxing here while drinking a glass of wine or enjoying a movie or your favorite series on the Smart TV.
Next to the kitchen is a circular dining table with designer chairs.
You’re invited to use our well-appointed kitchen, which has all you need to make delicious gourmet meals - cooking basics such as extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, butter, salt & pepper and a selection of herbs & spices are available complimentary.
The kitchen is equipped to a high standard with professional appliances, including Smeg toaster and kettle, blender, 5 burner gas cooktop, convection microwave oven, double bowl sink and Smeg refrigerator with small freezer.

This apartment was the best one we heve encountered since all these years of traveling. On the contrary to what we usually do, during our stay my wife and I tried to find time as much as we could to enjoy the coziness and the luxury of this apartment. Very modern and clean with a very good location. It has all the utilities you can imagine. Owners very nice and helpful in any way. We strongly recommend this apartment.

About the neighborhood
The apartment is located in the beautiful Cannaregio district, where many Venetians live. It's a quiet residential area situated between Saint Lucia train station and the Rialto Bridge.
Within 50 mt from home, you’ll find fresh bread, local fruit and vegetable, excellent cafes, pastry shops for quick breakfasts and brunches, pizza and good restaurants. Two large supermarkets, pharmacies and banks are at the same distance.
The Fondamenta della Misericordia, 50 mt from home, is a popular meeting place among Venetians and foodies. I recommend you to go during happy hour and taste the famous 'cicchetti' with an authentic 'spritz' in one of the many bars that overlook the lovely canal. Or, you can just enjoy the great atmosphere at sunset!
Getting around
You can use the public 'vaporetti' (water buses) to explore the city. The water bus Company is called ACTV and a single journey ticket will cost you 7,50 €.
If you plan to use the 'vaporetti' a lot, we recommend you to look at the options ACTV has for visitors, which are:
• 20,00 € - One day ticket
• 30,00 € - Two days ticket
• 40,00 € - Three days ticket
The closest stop to our apartment is called San Marcuola and it is on the 'Canal Grande'. In San Marcuola, you can take water bus number 1 (White Line) and number 2 (Red Line), running in both directions.

How to get there
Ca’ Risorta is located in Venice old town, surrounded by the lagoon. The apartment is easy to reach on your arrival and its location is also a great starting point to explore the city.
- From Marco Polo international airport: Alilaguna Orange Line, 30 minutes, stop “Guglie”;
- From Santa Lucia railway station: vaporetto (waterbus) ACTV Line 1, 10 minutes, stop “San Marcuola”;
- From Piazzale Roma (bus station and car park): vaporetto (waterbus) ACTV Line 1, 12 minutes, stop “San Marcuola”. Or just a 10-minute walk.
From “San Marcuola” or “Guglie” stop you'll reach the apartment in less than 5 minutes, with no bridges to cross.
