Wow. Picture do no justice to this place! It is a very very nice flat. Place is much bigger than it looks on pictures. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay in Como more than in Rome, Venice and Florence. There is a good coffee place just outside the building. Lake is 5 minuets from the flat. If you ever come to Como, rent this place- you will love it!!!

The location of the apartment is perfect with the most amazing views out over Brunate and the Domo. Vladimiro met us at the apartment which was immaculately clean and spacious and with the sounds of life in the city and the cathedral bells greeting you when you open the shutters. Everything we needed was in the apartment and we could contact the owner if required but there was no need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately return here as it was such a perfect location right in the heart of Como life- the only point to make are the stairs to the apartment which may not suit a less able bodied person but were great to reduce the affect of the excesses !!

We loved this apartment. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the tourist area and immediately opposite a wonderful cafe where we started every day with a coffee and a pastry (and ended by buying their fresh pasta and breads for dinner). It's a quick walk to the ferry as well as to the train stations for nice day trips. The apartment itself is immaculate, newly renovated throughout and all the rooms are large and airy. The view from the kitchen in particular is fantastic. The photos of the apartment don't do it justice. There were reviews talking about the lack of air conditioning. We stayed in April with 23c (75f) temperatures and certainly the temperature was completely comfortable throughout the apartment. We obviously can't comment about the height of summer though. There's no denying that there's 72 steps to the apartment but that never felt like a problem, even carrying a Pram up and down each day. We probably could have left it at the bottom or on the terrace area half way up if we'd wanted to. The only issue we had was with the wifi being intermittent. When we eventually flagged this up to Vladimiro he was quick to respond so I'm inclined to think this was just a one-off. Vladimiro was lovely, meeting us to show us around. They also made it really lovely for our toddler and infant, setting up a cute bed and cot for our little ones, as well as getting out the baby bath tub.

Good flat but no air con or fans provided. Ideal for an Autumn/Winter visit to Como. We visited in July 2015 when outside temperatures ranged from 32oC-38oC. The windows did open but the flat retained the heat as there was no breeze. It felt like a greenhouse. The twin room was very stuffy at night as it's very small. We had to sleep with the windows open at night which wasn't very safe. The flat was clean, the shower was great, WiFi was useful and it is in an excellent location (although up 72 steps) but pack a fan in your suitcase if you're planning to visit this flat in Summer!

Como is a lovely town with loads of great shops and restaurants. The apartment was lovely and very large. However it does not have air con. It was like an oven all week. We had to sleep with the large windows open just to get any relief. Doing this is not safe but we had no other option. There is also no safe in the apartment. However if air con or evening ceiling fans were installed in the apartment, along with a safe, then it would be fantastic.

5 mins from the Lake, in the centre of the historic centre. Huge flat very clean and well appointed.

We stayed for 1 week our 4 year old who enjoyed climbing the stairs. The flat was spacious and well decorated throughout. The location is great in the old part of the town. It was easy walking distance to the train station and lake. Lovely bakery immediately opposite and lots of restaurant close by. The owner was friendly, informative and helpful .

We stayed two weeks and it exceeded our expectations. Very spacious, clean, light and bright and centrally located in the historic distict. Be prepared for the walk up the stairs but you have to do something to keep in shape with all the great Como food at your doorstep. There were just two of us...so we had plenty of room. Loved it all. And bathroom was better than at home!
