Fantastische Wohnung

Diese Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sie ist modern, super sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet und verfügt über eine große, gut ausgestattete Dachterrasse mit einem sensationellen Blick auf den Comer See. Die Entspannung beginnt bereits vor der Haustür, wenn man die umliegenden romantischen Gassen betritt, über die der Ort Bellagio mit ein bisschen Kondition schnell zu erreichen ist. Michele ist ein sehr zuvorkommenden, freundlicher Gastgeber mit guten Englischkenntnissen, der uns herzlich willkommen geheißen hat. Wir können diese Wohnung sehr weiter empfehlen!

Outstanding apartment!

Michele "Mich" Gandola is the wonderful owner and manager of this magnificent apartment. It is located in a beautiful area of Bellagio called Pescallo. The views are magical. This side of Bellagio is a little quieter than the side with the ferries. Very peaceful. 1 or 2 restaurants within 1 or 2 minutes of the apartment or you can walk 10 minutes or so to the other side for many options. There is sort of a mini-mart just downstairs and around the corner (machines with drinks, snacks, and ice creams). The apartment itself is newly renovated with beautiful finishings. Very good use of space. Equipped with all you will need for cooking, drinking wine, bathroom accessories, there is even a washing machine with detergents if you need to wash your clothes. It's on 3 levels. Kitchen, main living and washing machine are all on the first level. 2 bedrooms (both air-conditioned!) and 1 bath (a real stand up shower and ample room to put your things) on the second. And the 3rd level is a small workout area and door to the amazing, large balcony that overlooks charming terracotta rooftops and on to the lake. Please note the stairs to the balcony are more like a ladder. Very steep and narrow, so it may be difficult for some. If you are walking to the apartment from the ferry or downtown area, there are quite a few steps and uphill areas. Please keep that in mind when towing luggage. We drove there. So there was parking and very convenient smooth walk to the apartment from the lot. Only a few meters away. Mich is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Be sure to ask about his kayak and SUP tours (Bellagio Water Sports)! He can also recommend many other activities and services. He graciously had wine and pastries waiting for us upon arrival. Every detail was taken care of. Also, you will more than likely have a roommate while you are there! Her name is Micha. Micha is Mich's cat. She's an old lady and can't hear but she is incredibly sweet (all white with the bluest eyes). She is the lady of the house. She made the place feel like home for us. You will thoroughly enjoy yourself here.

We can define Pescallo as most beautiful among Bellagio fraction, this is deserved cause of its position in front of its hamlet dominated by Grigne mountain chain and the beauty of Rockefeller Park gardens laying aside. The calm and relaxing atmosphere will hug you for a relaxing vacation. Definitively the place to live Bellagio without being in chaotic town center.

Getting around

From Bellagio you can easily move along the lake by ferry or motorboats. A public bus transports is available in direction of Lecco, Como and nearby countryside.

You can get here from Lombardy main airports by car, train or private taxi. or you can reach us with your private car or just by using public means of transports. The fastest way to get here by train is from Milan to Varenna and then from there by ferry to Bellagio. But all transports network will get you here by linking all available options from whatever your starting point. Pescallo is reachable either directly by car or by public transports and ferry form Bellagio center, please contact us if you need help in geting here from town center, we'll be glad to help you.
