This bright two-room apartment is characterized by wooden beams and a 360-degree view of Piazza Unità d'Italia, the largest square on the sea in Europe and the pulsating center of Trieste: three windows offer a panoramic view of the square and a skylight on the roof opens a glimpse of the tower of the famous town hall building. The apartment opens onto the living area with an open kitchen, furnished with a two-door wardrobe immediately at the entrance, a large island sofa that becomes a comfortable double bed, a TV, a table for four people. The wall kitchen is complete with a small fridge, freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and all the necessary utensils and crockery. A hallway with another wardrobe with two doors leads to the first blind bathroom with ventilation system, bathroom fixtures, shower cabin with overhead shower and heated towel rail. A staircase leads to the loft, made bright by a window on the roof and by another window overlooking the interior of the building. The space is furnished with two single beds perfectly joinable in a double bed, two bedside tables. Then there is the second bathroom with sanitary fixtures, shower cubicle and heated towel rail. * Small pets are allowed (upon payment of a double deposit). ** Tourist tax: € 2 per person (adults) per night, for a maximum of 5 nights. Parking area: Park San Giusto (paid silos) at 300 meters How to get: By train, from Central Station, on foot in 13 minutes (1km) or with bus lines 8 and 30. From the Ronchi dei Legionari airport (33km) there are bus connections (number 51) or the train (regional trains in about 30 minutes). Area: Piazza Unità d'Italia is the largest square on the sea in Europe: here are located large multinationals born in Trieste, the streets of shops, historic cafes, restaurants and typical buffets branch out, but also the youngest nightlife. The square, with its most famous buildings including the Municipality, the Government Palace, Palazzo delle Generali, is an ideal starting point to reach the Cathedral and the Castle with a 10-minute walk (650 meters, uphill) of San Giusto, on the summit of the homonymous hill; or to move towards the sea for a walk on the Molo Audace, where you can watch the sunset over the Gulf of Trieste. With your back to the sea, to the right of the square is the Cavana district, the heart of the Old Town, with its narrow streets full of lively shops at every hour from cafes, bars and restaurants. Here you can visit three of the most famous museums: Museo Revoltella with collections of modern art, the Museum of Istrian Civilization, Fiumana and Dalmata and the Museum of Oriental Art. To the left of the square instead the Borgo Teresiano, with the shopping streets, the Piazza della Borsa, the Teatro Lirico Verdi and the Grand Canal of Trieste, overlooked by numerous historic cafes and bars. The Miramare Castle is located 8 km from the city: it can be reached by car or by bus lines 6 and 36 that leave from the Central station. We suggest: For a coffee, the historic Caffè degli Specchi with its tables on Piazza Unità d'Italia, or Caffè Tommaseo. For an aperitif or a 'cicchetto' the streets of Cavana or the Grand Canal, from where you have a view of the sea and the sunset. For dinner, Eataly with its windows overlooking the sea, or restaurants with typical dishes of Trieste tradition in the Cavana district. Additional amenities: Full Kitchen, SofabedMore
