So, first of all, the apartment is in a good, quiet location not far from the centre. The rooms were clean, but some things really are overdue replacement - pillows are pretty knackered, for example. If you get a good deal, this apartment is fine but there are two things to be aware of: 1. The rooms are on the fourth floor and there is no lift. We travelled very light and our home is on the third floor of an old townhouse so we are used to the climb, but this would have been challenging with suitcases or big backpacks. 2. The bathroom has a low ceiling which slopes down to a low height above the toilet (gentlemen - you may have to sit!). Also the shower door is now a plastic concertina thing which doesn't close properly and has holes. I'm a slim 5'10" and could only just stand in the shower: it was very cramped. Even my petite 5'2" wife found the shower too small.

We were with four girls and the host was friendly and kind to us. He gave us nice local tips for Bologna. The place was nice and clean with all the facilities you Will need. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet and around the corner you will find a supermarket (spar). We are tall girls but the shower was for us no problem! We definitely recommend the place to others!

My friend and I stayed at this comfortable apartment for 12 days. We enjoyed our holiday because it is at very strategic place near the train station and city centre. The host is available and hospitable offerring us "panetone". Thank you Pietro. We invite you in Georgia.

We had a lovely week in this loft apartment over half term. It is situated in a quiet street, just ten minutes walk from the centre of Bologna. The apartment is well equipped; there's even a kettle, which is unusual in Italy The apartment had plenty of character, big rooms with sloping ceilings. Piero, the owner, stayed up late to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. He had kindly put bottles of water in the fridge and left us a homemade linen-drawer lavender bag. We had a view over the rooftops and could see San Luca in the distance. The beds were really comfortable and Piero left us lots of tourist information leaflets so that we could find our way around easily.

Siamo un gruppo di ragazzi che hanno appena passato quattro giorni nella bella ed accogliente Bologna, nel periodo di Capodanno. Siamo stati molto bene in questa graziosa mansarda dotata di gran parte dei confort necessari ma soprattutto pulita con proprietario gentile e disponibile. La posizione dell'appartamento permette di raggiungere facilmente il centro della città anche a piedi ed è oltretutto molto vicina a vari utili servizi quali fermate autobus, supermercato, tabacchino, bar, ristoranti ed osterie utili per chi vuole assaggiare la tradizionale cucina bolognese.

Just returned from 4 days in Bologna, where we stayed in this lovely attic apartment. The owner was helpful prior to our visit and met us at the apartment to give us the low down on the city. Apartment was 10 minute walk from the old town. It was well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Bologna.
